Who is in the right?

Moral Dilemma – Just had a falling out with a housemate in a shared house and I’m unsure if I’m in the wrong or not.

Hopefully this report of the situation comes across as neutral as possible.

A is watching the TV in the communal sitting room, B comes in – says hello. A says hello back. B asks A “what are you watching”, A responds that they’re watching their programme. A continues the programme and B gets his phone out. B goes onto TikTok and starts watching videos on his phone. After a while A asks B if he minds turning down the volume on his phone. B reminds A that it is a shared house and that he should turn down the volume of the TV.  A points out he was watching his programme but B again reinforces the point that it is a shared house.

Who is in the right (if any)?
