Can someone please explain to me what is Racist about requiring ID in order to vote?
I tried to buy a pack of smokes and the Indian cashier asked me if I had ID, I told him that it was racist to ask so then he threw me out

Some people might feel as if you are implying that People of color are can't be trusted and will attempt to manipulate or scam if an I.D isn't presented.

What's racist about it is that certain groups are trying to make it so that it's so difficult to GET an ID that qualifies as legitimate, that mostly white folks get them and fewer people of color have the opportunity. The concept of requiring an ID isn't racist at all, as long as you make access to acceptable forms of identification easy and universal to all who qualify.

Photo voter ID cards are fine, but if they are required then everyone should get one for free when they register.
