I'm a 21 year old college student and I feel like my parents are too controlling.

My parents have always been this way. For instance I've never been to a sleepover before. This is a rule I've had since childhood and always obeyed. I remember in when I was 16 a running joke with my friends was that I had to be home by 7... although it wasn't really a joke, because I did. I feel like I missed out on a lot.

Now that I'm 21 not much has changed. I'm allowed out, but whenever I leave it's met with hostility unless I'm home by midnight. To be honest, I often disobey this so being at home can be quite stressful. I get ignored pretty much unless I'm asked to clean something or someone has a snide comment to throw in my direction. They accuse me of using the place like a hotel, and although I've offered to pay rent, they refuse.

I've tried for years to talk about all of these issues. The best I've gotten by way of a compromise is I can stay out when I graduate.

I really want to move out because I feel quite trapped here, but I'd probably have to go into debt and I'm not sure thats worth it, since I've still two years of school left (though I'm currently employed and debt free). My parents have also expressed that they'd be extremely displeased with me if I moved out.

I just don't know what to do. At times I wonder if their demands are reasonable and I'm as bad as they say I am, or if they're really holding me back. I want to be a good daughter, but at the same time I want to have some form of independence. Any advice?

I'm a female, and I can't completely feel like my bladder is empty unless i'm standing or standing and slightly bent over. Im currently on urinary tract medication (1 pill twice a day for five days) and I'm into my third day and theres not significant change. What else could this be?

I recently broke up with a boyfriend of a little less than a year. I'm extremely sad, but I was supposed to go to a party this weekend. I feel like I could be happy long enough to go to the party.

On one hand, it poses the possibility for drunk dialing, and hooking up to make myself feel better. There is also the possibility that the now ex boyfriend will be there.

But on the other hand, I really wanted to see all my friends, get dressed up, and had been looking forward to this all week before the party.

Should I go? Or skip out?

I just lost out on a job opportunity, and now I've got absolutely nothing to do for the summer. I hate having nothing to do, so can anyone suggest activities I should do, or hobbies I should take up?
