The wind chill is 19 degrees, two women are on my porch. They claim that there's is the only true religion. I tell them I'm not interested as I have my own beliefs several times. One of them keeps talking and reciting scriptures. I have respect for others and I do not care to be mean to anyone. I did not invite them in as I told them right off to go elsewhere. Finally I insisted that they leave, bid them a nice day and one pleaded for me to pray with them. I told her no as I closed the door.

Now I am angry as the more I think about it, the more I realize the disrespect they showed me on my own porch!

I'm afraid, due to this encounter, I will be quite nasty next time.

My 8 year old son often has a strong oniony - puppy breath (kinda hard to discribe), even right after brushing and using mouth wash. I know that a rotten smell can mean infection, but this is puzzling.

It seems that products imported from China do not get inspected until somebody gets hurt.

There are so many food products on the store shelves that say "distributed by......." but not where they are made. It's a pain because then I have to call the company to find out where they are made.

My daughter bought "Florida Naturals" from a vending machine at her school and was shocked that they clearly stated "made in China". She didn't eat them, but I'm sure plenty of other children have. With that name, you would assume they were domestic, you know, from Florida.

It seems that since the trade is free, we can't afford to inspect it or something.

So, who really wants to eat the stuff?

All the books I have researched with, forbid any use of their information without written permission. Many of these books list a ton of books where they got their material. Do you think they had written permission from all of their sources?

Imagine, the president of the United states. Power! Don't the candidate hopefuls spew whatever they think the majority of voters wants to hear? Once they are in power, does it even matter what they said they'd try to do?

We are supposed to be leaving the industrial age and entering the service age? What exactly are these services we are to provide?

In 1942, the United Nations was formed and adopted a world peace declaration. Five years later, the US declared Israel to be the Jewish homeland and gave money, support and weapons nessesary for the Jews to remove, terrorize and murder the Palestinians in that region. Totally going against the United Nations own rules. The land of Israel is holy to most all of the people in the region, not just the Jews. Why did our president do it? And why have we continued to support Israel to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars over the years? Our armed forces are trying to help the Iraqi people, how can they trust us when we are still helping the upsurper keep their holy land. That would be like another country declaring that Texas belongs to the Mexicans and then giving them the latest and greatest weapons to remove all the current occupants. We'd be irate!
