Help!!!!

I need to write an essay answering this question, and I'm not sure where to start. Any information or resources would be really helpful...I'm just not sure which is better, because my text hasn't seemed to help. I'm leaning toward community, though.

Alright guys, prepare yourselves. This is going to be a long one. I apologize in advance.

In the course of four years my parents borrowed no more than $6,000 from my grandparents (my dad lost his job), at which they paid almost half back and have been continuing to do so for a while. Then, in July my grandfather became very ill. In September, he passed away from a heartattack. They had five children, four girls and one boy. My father is the boy, who lived 45 minutes away from her. Their other closest child lived about the same distance, however she is in nursing school again, has heart conditions and has a younger family to take care of. They also have a daughter who lives a state away, which is about 4 hours or more, and then one who lives about four states away (she needs to fly to get here.) Then finally, a daughter who lives in England. My grandmother has mild dementia, and needed someone to take care of her. She has always felt most comfortable with my dad, as her other daughters hardly ever bothered with her. Two weeks after my grandfather passed away, my father moved in with her and commuted from house to house visiting us for four months. During this time, my grandmother decided she wanted my dad to be her Power of Attorney. He had agreed to this, and keep in mind that at this time we had not known she had dementia, and we trusted her decisions. Once he became POA, two of his sisters got furious (both the ones that live out of state) and began a court battle with him. There was a court hearing in January, to which my grandmother agreed to something she did not understand. So they asked for another. His sisters, however attacked us significantly. They came up with crazy things that were not true, said that we took $700,000 from her when we obviously did not, they said we influenced her and took advantage of her, that we screened her phone calls and that we kept other family members from contacting her, when on the contrary we had tried very hard to rebuild the relationship between her two daughters and her to bring the family together, as support was needed after her husband whom she knew since she was in kindergarten (She's now 80 years old) passed away. She needed loving, family support and not court hearings and fighting. Soon enough, today was the court hearing. To begin, I'm 18 years old and I'm probably the most respectful girl you would meet. I've never gotten in trouble, I've never had any kind of attitude problem or anything. I'm polite, and I feel that I carry myself appropriately. I had gone to the court hearing with my father and grandmother to help keep my grandmother calm because my mother was unable to go. During the hearing, I was sitting in the back, and out of nowhere the judge stopped everything for a moment and started yelling about someone finding something entertaining when it shouldn't be. He said you, and looked in my direction and I honestly did not think it was me. I looked behind me expecting someone to be there, but there wasn't. He then said "don't play dumb, you know what you did. Stand up right now." I stood, and he told me that he's sick of me smiling and snickering back there and that he will have me removed if I continue, or that I should leave if it's so entertaining to me. I, of course know I was not smiling. I was stone faced. I was listening to the lies that were being said about my father, and I honestly...had no reason to smile. I felt horrible. So, I was scared by him. I said I was sorry, and sat back down. Continuing on, during and throughout the court hearing he gave our side not much of a chance at all. He was very rude to our lawyer, very rude to my father and our witnesses. On the contrary, he was extremely polite to my aunt's and it was obvious how much he had favored them. Then, nearing the end of it again...out of nowhere, he got angry with me. This time, all I did was put my palms over my face, close my eyes and look down slowly shaking my head. I in no way interrupted anyone. I was sitting in the back, in fact he was the only one facing me. I don't understand what I did wrong, but he immediately told me to get out, and (I could be wrong here, but he said something about something of court?) I think he said that I was lucky he didn't charge me or something with Contempt of Court?! At least something along those lines? I have no idea. I know I did NOTHING. I just am so confused how I got thrown out? I immediately stood up and left, feeling...well, confused. An hour or so later, they came out and my father had told me he lost. Now, his sisters have Plenary Guardianship over my grandmother, and the judge ordered we be removed from the home within 30 days. The judge was biased from the beginning, and he made a terrible decision. My aunts plan on sending her to a nursing home when she is only mildly impaired. What do we do? Yes, I know this questions sounds really odd...however I'm looking for different opinions on what I maybe should go to school for. I'm a junior, and a lot of my friends already have it all figured out and some are already accepted into colleges, so I feel kind of in the dark here.

I definitely want to further my education, but 1. I don't want to go in dept with spending a lot of time in college. I know this sounds silly. 2. I'm afraid that the career path I choose might be right, or I won't be able to find work which would have been a waste of years.

I was thinking of becoming an ultrasound technician, because for some reason someone told me that it would only take 12 months and all you needed was your high school diploma, but I discovered otherwise. Also, it doesn't seem like a dream job for me, but I felt the need to kind of sacrifice to have a plan, but now that I found out that's not the case then I feel that I need to start over.

I've also thought of doing something in psychology, maybe becoming a children's therapist or guidance counselor, but I'm not sure how long it takes to do that, and well...I really just want to start work right away.

With my creative side, I've really wanted to go into cosmetology, but I've heard mixed things about this. A few people told me that when they went to school for it they came out without a job and can't find one, then someone told me that it's hard to make decent money as one, and then someone else told me that they love their job and they get paid a lot in tips.

I've also really was set on being a nurse, but after working around them I decided other wise having seen what difficult jobs they may have.

So...I know this is a stupid thing to ask on yahoo answers, but I'd like to know what your opinions are? I tend to be interested in either something that deals with beauty, healthcare or listening to people. At least those have been my three main paths that I've been going back and forth with since 5th grade.

I just want to state that I'm not asking for you guys to do my work for me, I just need some better teaching? I'm not understanding the concept at all, and I really need help to figure this out. Can someone teach it to me or explain it better?

for example, one of my problems is to solve -27 = 9n, and I need solve the equation and show all my steps. However, I thought the steps was to multiply -27 by each side, giving my end answer with -243, which just doesn't seem right, considering I've checked it on Wolfram Alpha and it says the answer should be -3? I'm so confused, what am I doing wrong?

I know it's silly to ask these things on here, as they should really be kept for a doctor...but I'm just trying to see if anyone else has any other thoughts on this. My mother has been non-stop vomiting every day for at least three weeks. She's heaving as well. What happens is for two days she'll hard on throw up, then on the third day she's just nauseous and doesn't, but then it starts all over again. She's seen three different doctors and has gone to the ER, but no one can figure out what's wrong with her. She's also been put on medication to help take it away, but that hasn't worked either as she just throws it right up. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I got my ears pierced not too long ago (I was allowed to change earrings July first.) So what happened was I got really small earrings to be pierced with, and when I first got my ears pierced I noticed that the earrings kept somehow sinking into the ear? I assumed it was because of my ear swelling up, but it ended up hurting so I changed my earrings to different earrings.

When I could change them, I put in the smaller pair again thinking that it wouldn't sink in anymore. Well, I woke up today to find that my earring is stuck inside my earlobe. I don't think it's closed (yet). I can stick another earring through the hole and it hits the earring that's stuck inside my earlobe. I'm honestly kind of freaking out right now. I tried pulling the earring through the back, and I can't...it hurts. I tried pushing it through the front, but it seems impossible. I can't even see the earring anymore. What should I do?

Hey! I need a little bit of help here...

My dad would like to sell his music (for like 77 cents or something, and then one song he wants to give out for free.) and I have a simple website started for him (a freewebs site, to be exact. I wanted it to be easy for him to use.) but I can't seem to find a place where we can put the music up for download. Even if I can't do it on freewebs, is it possible to find a place (that doesn't take any rights away or anything) that we can even put it up? I've tried finding out if I can put it on iTunes but well...that just seems complicated and not possible? Anyone have any good input?

On and off for maybe a few weeks to a month now I've not been feeling so well. I've had light to moderate headaches, and then I feel dizzy I think? I open my eyes and it seems like everything is moving or shaky, and I just don't like it.

Other than that, I've had a fever on and off just recently when this happens, and sometimes I feel nauseous, though that was more intense in the beginning. I haven't felt sick otherwise or anything, no sore throat or congestion. I'm just curious what the possibilities are? It may just be something simple (like allergies? weather change?) that could save me a doctor visit. I'd just like some input.

I'm really just looking for a much more simple explanation of these? I have trouble understanding math (I have a horrible teacher, and I'm in IEP) but it's nearing the end of the quarter and I need to get my stuff done. My parents don't know much about math, so I can't find much help. I still want to do so while understanding it, though. So some help would be greatly appreciated :)

Just a curiosity. I've heard from somewhere that you burn more calories in your sleep than you do watching TV, but I've also heard that you shouldn't eat before you go to sleep. Either way, I don't really eat before bed...and if I'm usually hungry, I'll drink a glass of water and it'll take the hunger away.

But here's the story:

My brother got the stomach flu yesterday, he said he was throwing up and the whole bit.

Today he asked if he could come visit us, but my dad said no because we can't get sick (I just had my tonsils and adenoids taken out, so I'm sure that me puking all the time wouldn't be good at all. Plus my parents have some serious health problems and it wouldn't be good for them to get sick)

Anyway, my brother said that my dad doesn't know what he's talking about, and that he knows three nurses who says my dad doesn't. That we won't get sick from him.

Is this true? I find it kind of impossible, since I always tend to get sick when I'm around others who have had the flu. I mean...I always thought it was contagious.

I know that everyone says that bleaching your hair in general is really bad for it, but I wasn't sure if there would be a difference for someone with blonde hair to bleach it?

I just realized that this question sounds really stupid...kind of like a dumb blonde. HAHAHAH sorry about that xP I'm just not very smart with hard, and I had no idea if it made a difference or what.

But I notice that if you use germ-x on your hands, or other hand sanitizers that it makes your hands very dry.

they say that if we keep touching our face, we'll get more acne because of the oils in our hands.

and for some odd reason since I've been using it really often, i haven't gotten so much acne because i touch my face a lot.

i know this sounds realllly stupid, haha. but i was just wondering if it had any effect.

We've noticed that she's been going to her litter box a lot lately. Maybe a couple times in an hour, and she'll sit there in a position like she's gonna go for about five minutes, but nothing comes. Not even pee.

We've also noticed that she's been cleaning that area a lot lately (you know, her private area. aha) way more than usual.

Also, about a week ago we noticed something red in the litter box. It looked like maybe blood mixed with pee? But it was just a drop, and could of been anything...even food dropped in or something. We're not sure. It looked more watery than blood would.

I'm pretty worried about her. We have another cat, but he seems to be doing fine. (and yes, our cats are both 'fixed')

What do you think is wrong with her? And how serious could the matter be? My parents don't think it's all that serious, but I'm worried and would like some second opinions.
