  • Photographer who takes pictures of heart shaped anomolies?

There is a photographer who specializes in taking photos of random and misc heart shaped items. I remember having his poster when I was a teenager. It was filled with many pictures of heart shaped rocks, flowers, trash, a dead bird, an old sock, clouds, and other items all heart shaped. Any idea of his name?

    Thanks!

  • Is it better to buy a once-in-a-lifetime designer purse in a classic color or a color with personality?

My options are going with black or white for classic colors and red or teal for stand out colors. I'm more of standout kind of person in certain ways, so it seems like the right choice to go in that direction but if this is a once in a lifetime purse, whats the best way to go?

  • Is it better, in the short and long run, to make a large purchase or several smaller purchases?

I have the opportunity to purchase something I've wanted for a very long time. It's $500 and it's not worth that much, but it costs that much.

As I'm sure everyone does, I have a "want list" of things I've been wanting. The items range from $20-$150 each. With this money, I have the opportunity to either buy the $500 item that I've been wanting forever and never have the opportunity to buy or several smaller items as to not waste this gift on one single thing.

My rationalization is: The smaller items can be purchased each month, one at a time as money allows, but with this larger item, it's hard to come by $500 at any given time. It's accurate to say if I don't buy it now, it's going to be a very long time before I'll have the opportunity again.

    So what would you do?

  • What concealer would you recommend?

After applying conclear, my undereye area appears dry and chappy and shows age lines that shouldn't be appearing at my age (25)! I have very healthy skin, and before applying concealer, besides the dark circles (mostly caused by thin skin) my skin looks fresh and moisturized.

No matter what brand I use and no matter how I apply it (sponge or finger, thick or thin) I can't get it to look decent!

    Any recommendations?

  • What is the proper way of giving notice to my current job in this situation?

I will be moving out of the city and won't be able to continue working at my job. I will have a definite answer within a few days but this will be a month before the move.

Is it proper to give as much notice as possible or should I keep this to myself and only give them two weeks notice?

Also, if I do give one month notice, could they ask me or force me to leave sooner?

  • How to hide a cat from the landlord?

I've had cats in apartments that don't allow pets many times, so I know the usual tips for hiding them. I know to lock them in another room or take them with me or to a friend's house and to hide their food, water, litter, toys and all evidence such as cat litter and cat hair.

However, this situation is a bit more complicated and requires a bit more finessing. I rent a unit that is up for sale. Realtors will be stopping by at any time to show the unit to prospective buyers. They're hoping they'll find an investor so I don't have to move - but either way I'm not allowed to have cats. I had them put "CALL BEFORE COMING" in the notes, but they're still putting a lockbox with a key inside on the door just in case I'm not available to be there.

My concern is that the realtor will be lazy and skip calling and just let themselves in. It's too warm where I live to have my cats sit in my car all day and I cannot bring them into the office. Taking them to a friend's house is not an option for me either.

My best plan (so far) is to put a doorknob with a lock on the second bedroom (office) in our home and putting a note on the door that mentions that we're cat sitting and that cats are behind the door. Although getting caught is a terrible thing to have happen, my cats getting loose is much worse (they're indoor only). I don't think I could get away with not putting up a sign as my kitten likes to put his paw under the door, and you can hear them running around from downstairs. The problem with this is that I couldn't do this for very long and because of the buying market, this could be going on for quite some time. Yes I realize moving is probably the best option but there aren't very many "pet friendly" units for rent in my town.

Does anyone have any better ideas or suggestions?

  • What color will match yellow for a wedding?

I found a great yellow dress for a wedding - but I don't know what color to get the shall, shoes and purse in. I can't wear white, any other pastel color will make me look like a little girl, black will make me look like a bumble bee - and I can't wear any dark color - it will stand out too much. I was thinking either cream, beige, khaki - something natural colored looking.. any better suggestions?

  • Where can I find 2 x 4 baggies made of corn plastic, PLA, or any other green-friendly plastic alternative?

The baggies can range in size but must be smaller than sandwich baggies. Can be open top or ziplock. I've found many many bioplastics companies but none that carry baggies in this size. HELP!
