If I got a job offer and late on in the recruitment process I change my mind, is there anything they could sue me for having done a DBS check, occupational health clearance (its a hospital job) and needing 2 references? If I write to them and tell them I want to withdraw my application as the role isn't suited to me for religious and practical reasons- I signed a contract and T&Cs etc but then I want to change my mind. Or is this all just a delusion in my mind? The contract says I would need to give 1 week notice during probation and 4 weeks after it...my start date is still 3 weeks away so I havent started, can I write to them and withdraw without any problems or notice period since I havent started?

If they can sue me for anything what would it cost me roughly? I'm panicking.

If you work as a nurse in a private hospital especially, do you wear the same uniform everyday but wash regularly or does the hospital order and give you new ones? And if so, how often is this?

As you may know private hospitals in the UK are non government funded if I'm not mistaken? 

What are their sources of income? And if its known, what percentage come from insurance companies that pay for a customers treatment and what percentage from other sources such as the customer paying themself and other sources of income?

I'd really prefer if someone who's worked in a UK job centre answers this.

1. Are work coaches allowed the discretion/decision to CONTINUOUSLY let someone off if they aren't meeting their claimant committment/requirements for universal credit or are they OBLIGED to sanction them if they dont have a valid reason?

2. Someone I know is continuously let off by their work coach even though he doesn't do all the hours- he does some. Is that ok and within her right to make this decision or is the work coach not following the training she's given by the government/relevant people? Bearing in mind this person says sometimes its due to the job search timeload/hours being a lot and also due to the fact there aren't a lot of junior/entry level suited roles for him to apply at the minute so he does what he can?

I have been on the phone to customer service/technical team from vodafone who took me through a few troubleshooting steps which only brought me up from 1 to 2 bars. When it was only on 2 bars I couldnt even make or receive calls, this is why I rung them. They also said because I am using a pac code to transfer my ood number it tends to cause this issue? Is this true? When my number transfers will the signal issues be sorted? Also its causing my 4g not to work. Only my wifi and 3g are working atm and getting 2 bars.

Im struggling as to which SIM only 12 month contract is best to go with for the upcoming black friday deal. Thankfully my contract with three just expired last month and they are so awful I need ti move on. I'm torn between vodafone and EE. Which are best in UK regarding network coverage, getting signal/reception and speed of internet? My frustration with 3 was that phonecalls disconnect sometimes or the reception just isn't of a good quality. I think EE are regarded as best overall but i would go with vodafone if the difference between EE and themselves isnt great since their deal is better. thanks.

I have just enrolled on an IT course studying comptia, windows 10, 2012 and later CCNA to become an IT professional. I think I am in deep trouble. It seems to me like I have signed onto a course I know nothing about albeit, its for beginners. Its a 7 week programme where they teach us the comptia 901 and 902 modules in 2 weeks (5 days each) and then two windows modules in 2 weeks after a three week break to study at home.

The 901 book by itself is over 400 pages long. How can they deliver that in 5 days? Even if most of it is self study, my issue is how detailed and intricate IT seems to be and the vast amounts of information you have to take in and know- and in my case, in such a short span of time. The exams of course are multiple choice. I Dont know if that really makes it easier.

I have to pass the two A+ modules within 12 weeks of starting the course and I honestly have no idea how I am going to do this.

Anyway guys, please, whether you're a former student of comptia or have taught it, please can anyone send me what I have to know for the exams simplified. This book is seriously putting me off. Are there any links where the information is compiled and condensed and is enough to pass the exams? And also videos? Also can you let me know how you passed and got through it? The course starts in a couple of weeks and I would like to know as much as possible before starting.
