  • Why have I never been stopped by the TSA for carrying on a lighter? ?

I’m a smoker, and have flown many, many times since I started and every single time I have had a lighter in my pocket and sent it down with my stuff. I thought they are prohibited and are on the big board telling you what you can’t bring on.

If that’s true, then how have I boarded every single flight with a lighter in my pocket (not in checked baggage although I always have another one in my suitcase), sent down the X-ray, go through the metal detector, and collect it after. Why is this allows? Is it certain circumstances? Do they make an exception when seeing my pack with the lighter?

  • Does anyone else think that the punishment for Rapists is far too lenient? ?

I think rapists get off so easily and can sit in jail and have a good time, living their lives. They get a place to sleep, meals, play cards or exercise while their victims have to deal with the shame, regret, and pain for the remainder of their lives.

Truthfully.... I think the punishment should be castration, not medically castrated, I mean cut it off, balls and all (that just made me laugh out loud when i wrote that) but keep them alive and stop dying from blood loss.

I know if I don’t say this there would be tons of people tearing into me about what if they are accused but innocent? What I said above, this punishment should only be available if the person(s) have been proven beyond a reasonable doubt or are 100 percent sure of guilt

  • Why did the Japanese attack pear harbor? ?

They immediately made the war far more difficult for themselves by bringing the US into the war. If they were bent on destroying Americans why didn’t they wait until the war  was almost won (if they could have won) then attack?

Would the US not have entered the war if not for the attack on pearl?

  • Why do the North Koreans blindly follow multiple dictators regardless of the oppression and famine?

How do they keep every single(maybe not 100 percent but the majority) North Korean from accessing information or never look to see what the outside world thinks or is. Is it just fear of execution?

Why when the famine kills so many people because of something the current dictator is that not enough to wake people up and stop blindly following? Their dead because of him and the famine he caused and yet they don’t react at all or change how they feel.

Can anyone answer those and provide detailed, not just a general description of the word or answer

  • How can people actually loot luggage or critical components from air craft crash sites?

What kind of people could even do this? If I had survived a plane crash, or came upon one and saw people looting, i would take a stick or something solid and start hitting people over the head when I saw them.

People have either died or are in need of medical attention or just help to escape. And yet they ignore all of that and start grabbing parts or things from scattered luggage.

Then there is the reward offered if looters or thieves return crucial parts or evidence. They should make the offer, but have a police or military personnel with them while they wait for people to come in (face it, these people are thieves so it’s warranted in my opinion) and once the person arrives they should confiscate the part and instead of giving them the reward they came for, have them detained or arrested. That way they can’t warn anyone else that they shouldn’t try to get the reward. After everything Is recovered or most of what is needed, let them go, or stay in prison/jail/detention.

In a documentary I saw, someone referred to the person who returned the FDR for a reward as “a good guy”. Good guy? Who in hell could ever think that? They are pieces of ****. They have stolen something. They offer no help to those in need of it. They only cared about what they might be able to take. They only wanted to claim a reward for their stolen items. So... good guy? No.... piece of ****

  • secret service agent training?

This may be asked already but didn’t see or couldn’t find after a brief look.

How are secret service agents trained to take a bullet for the president. Specifically how that training makes agents able to overcome the survival instinct instantly or with only second to act and put themselves in front of the president or threat?

  • Animal abuse?

I am mostly directing this to people who have, are, or will abuse animals. Although I highly doubt any of you would have the balls to answer this. In my opinion, anyone who does is a coward. Did you feel any guilt

or remorse? If I ever hit someone’s pet, it would haunt me for the rest of my life and carry incredible grief. That being said, anyone who doesnt and never will, have you known or had a friend that abused animals? If they were a friend, did they say or imply why they do it. It’s unconscionable and I am incapable of understanding, even if i ended up with the worst childhood ever (a common excuse I believe for why they do it.

  • Adama BSG 2013?

Know this is many years after the series ended, and was one of my favorite shows ever, if not #1. I had seen that the entire series had been made available with the syfy app so naturally I went back and watch every episode again.

In the episode “final cut” when they are filming the CIC during the Cylon fighter attack... this is one of my only WTF moments in the entire series. When the vipers have destroyed the fighters, you see Adama basically yell “yes!” With a little fist motion celebration.

Does anyone else find this to be the worst and most un-Adama reaction? It’s strayed so far that it’s something Adama would never have done.

Example being when the resurrection ship is destroyed, or any significant victory, there is nothing but calm seriousness as we’ve come to expect from the character.

I find it to be the complete 100% opposite reaction that anyone would expect. It makes it seem so stupid. So unrealistic and just plain.... WTF.

anyone else have the same thoughts? Why would they have kept that reaction scene in?

  • Battlestar galactica deadlock anabasis question?

Im wondering if there is a list or guide that explains each possible bonus (not exactly sure what else to refer to it as) you can receive from plotted jump coordinates?

Also, the majority of them are self explanatory but one im unsure of: the + reinforcement countdown. I have almost never gone with a jump that gave you the bonus, but I just wanted to clarify. I would assume it adds additional turns to slow reinforcements, is that correct? There is usually a blue Cylon icon when affecting the enemy fleet (minus a percentage of salvage for the cylons) but it has a colonial icon just like the FTL cooldown

  • Godzilla king of the monsters Ghidorah questions?

First, why would Ghidorah essentially waste the time and effort to kill humans that couldn’t possibly be of any threat? I don’t mean pilots/soldiers and such. Specifically those who have no weapons and are just running on foot. Also don’t mean any that are killed by being crushed unintentionally.

Second, Godzilla clearly is quite intelligent and can determine the best way to fight in different situations or environments. Why not either attack or lure Ghidorah to an ocean, and drag him or pull him under water. It’s not mention if he could survive under water exactly, although it could be since the oxygen destroyer didn’t work. If we do assume he can’t, Godzilla could easily drown him since he is able to breathe under water for a long time, if not indefinitely.
