  • Business Management or Financial Institutions Management?

I see myself more working in a bank, but my friends told me that Fin Management is very specific and has limited job opportunities. I think Business Management is also a good course but they said it's too broad.

  • getting a double degree?

my course right now is financial institution management and i'm planning to add economics next sem. will it give me any advantage (job hunts, etc.)?

they say that it's quite impractical especially if you're going to take masters.. at the same time, i think having a double degree might make you more marketable for job applications.

i'm also worried about my gpa since there are more chances for it to go down.

  • Why do I enjoy having bitchy friends?

I mean, I enjoy their "meanness" and all, but maybe it's because it's far from how I grew up, but I'd like to think there's something more deep than that.

  • how do you stick to your ambition?

like, when you want something, you plan to do all these things, but after a week or so, it fades away and some lame excuse comes out of your head making you feel better about "cheating" to the plan.

later on, you're gonna feel bad or bitter when you hear your peers got the award or something you always wanted.

how did you deal with this, how should we deal with this and how can i make sure that i'm really going to stick to the goals.

personal experiences will greatly help. thanks :D

  • Is it rude to walk past an old couple?

we were in the middle of a road and it's a little traffic. I'm a fast walker by nature and I don't wanna serve as a hassle to the cars (I'm the last one.) So the space was a little big, I walked to the side of the couple and made my pace faster (because the entrance to the gate was quite small.) They didn't really say anything but it just got me thinking if it's rude or not because I kinda feel bad after.

  • emotional spending, how to deal with it?

how do you deal with it? i usually save up a lot without noticing in school but once the sentiments creep in (especially on a rainy friday night), i end up splurging all of them in clothes.

maybe dealing with the problem is an option but suppose that you can't, how do you control?

  • how to have an ambition/interest?

i aspire for nothing (aside from the obvious, wealth and love).

i have no interests, i'm good in many things but i don't "love to do" them.

and everyone around me is changing (i'm in high school). everyone around me matures and wants bigger things. how can i have that drive?

  • i have "dry" eyes -- essilor?

i did the vision check and they said i was normal.

i told them that my eyes are usually watery and they kinda "burn" when i'm on the computer. she said that i might have "dry eyes". she also recommended to use essilor when using the computer to easen the strain.

should i buy a pair? and how much does it usually cost? :)) thanks

  • How to get over a crush?

I would like to get over this guy, to get things done and I could stop making weird fantasies :))

However, the bigger part of me wants to see him and imagine that its as if we're gonna bump into each other and realize we have a lot in common from a short talk.. and things like dozing off during classes and write his name a million times in the back of my notebook (cheese =))).

I feel terrible because maybe I don't "like" him but it's more of the idea of falling in love.

I just want to know your experiences and how you dealt with this kind of situation. i think most of us had experience this once in our lives. thank you :D

  • socializing problems in school?

i'm having a hard time socializing in school. i try to socialize but my interest is different and my humor is waaay too different from theirs. what's funny to me is offensive to them.

so i'm just really really passive during rehearsals and group projects... and i feel like they think of me as that "girl in the corner with no personality".

the worse part for me is that i eat alone during lunch because my friends bully me a lot. this worries me because this might be the same scenario until my adult years.

    thank you for answering :)

  • how do you maintain inspiration to accomplish goals?

there are times that i say to myself, "i'll work hard to get good grades" but i'll see myself a few days later, watching tv until midnight on a school day, getting mediocre grades.

it's not only that. how do you maintain your inspiration? thanks :D

  • dream interpretation?

i was having this dream a few weeks back. during my geometry class, i was as usual writing down notes. then my geometry teacher (who is my favorite teacher actually) asks a question. i suddenly find myself having the urge to answer the question so i raised my hand and gave her the answer. then she yells at me saying i've been really noisy lately.

    any interpretations? thanks :D
