  • MW3 Bonus maps in private match?

    So the other day i was fooling around on MW3 and I saw a bonus map section for private matches. Now I assumed this contained all the released maps and I do have COD Elite. However I there were about 9 other playable maps. Are these future releases or just private match maps?

  • Whats the convolution of this x(t) and h(t)?

    x(t)= e^(-.25*t) [u(t)-u(t-6)]

    h(t)= e^-(t+1) [u(t+1)-u(t-5)]

    I can't seem to get the right answer. When i do the convolution integral it doesn't match the graph of this convolution. Is their a spoecific property for convoluding two exponents?

  • Need help finding the Tangent and Normal Vector?

    r(t)=<2cost, 3sint,t^2> at t=0 and t=pi/4

    I've tried solving this but it keeps getting more and more complicated, and i don't see how anything can drop out.

    For the normal vector i got <0,1,0> and <-sqrt(2)/3, sqrt(2)/3, pi/2> respectively.

    Is this right?

  • C Programming For Loop question?

    int foo(int x1, int x2) //sorry for the bad indenting, yahoo doesn't like it...

    { return x1 +x2;

    }

    int scum(int r)

    { for(i=0;i=2;i++)

    foo(r+i, 5);

    }

    main()

    { scum(3);

    }

    // Does Foo ever execute? i=2 is an assignment statement where there should be an argument. since this is = and not ==, does it read it as a true statement? If this is true, wouldn't this be an infinite loop?

  • alienrespawn disppeared after factory restore?

    I recently restore my m15x with alienrespawn after making a recovery disk. I restored to factory settings, now have no trace a alienrespawn. After redownloading alienrepawn, i now have to pay for premium service to restore from my recovery disk??? Anyone know if restoring for windows.old will bring that subscription back(although i dont prefer that method) or will alienware give me another subscription since it came with the computer?

  • How to use backup disks for computer?

    These are not the backup disks that came with the computer. I used alienrespone to create these recovery disks. I then did a system restore. Is it possible to use these recovery disks to recover the system i had when i made the disks, not just the files? The disks dont "run" when they are inserted, rather they just look like regular files. Again i used alienrespone for my alienware laptop to do this.

  • Computer Freezing mostly just after startup?

    My computer freezes mostly just after it starts and i try to open something like google chrome. Its shows its trying to load but never does. So i have to manually restart every time this happens. It doesnt do this all the time, mostly on start ups, sometimes after a little use, and once it has happened at the login menu. I'm not sure whats wrong. I've done registry clean ups, ran malware removal programs, and defragged my system. This all started after accidentally tried to zip 100mb file into 20 byte portions when i meant 20 mb portions. This caused my computer to crash within seconds of logging on. This problem was fixed through the command prompt so all those zip folders are gone. Could this have damaged the hardware? I'm just now starting to run my computer in safe mode to see if it freezes here, so far so good...

    Any advice would be much appreciated!

    Also, would totally restoring the computer to factory defaults help?

  • Velocity of an object sliding down a ramp at a certain point?

    Im having trouble coming up with an equation that will give me the velocity of an object sliding down a friction-less ramp at a certain distance.

    I have the mass, the distance('s) and the angle.

    Heres what i have come up with:

    Since mass is negligable for a falling object, i assume this would too since its friction-less.

    V=sqrt(Vo^2 + 2gsin(x)d)

    Is this right?

  • Infinite number of files appearing on desktop?

    I was trying to zip/compress a video from about 100mb to 20 mb with 7-zip. About half way through compressing it looked as if it froze, so i forced 7-zip to shut down. Now im getting a ton of "newfolderzip.1", "newfolderzip.2"......... on my desktop. I went to the My Pictures tab in the start menu an say that files were being created continuously in upwards of hundreds of thousands of files. So it seems as if this is in some sort of infinite loop and i dont know how to stop it. I will add that explorer.exe is also extremely high....534234kb(i think) for example and continuing to go up. How can i stop this process. my computer keeps crashing if i try and open more than one program. Also my computer even sounds as if its overworking itself.

  • What to get, HTC EVO 4G or HTC EVO 3D 4G?

    My two years are up and i'm having trouble deciding whether its worth spending $50 for the EVO 3D when i can get the EVO 4G with Android 2.3 for free since i have a $150 bonus toward a new phone. I haven't yet been able to compare the 3D to 2D. The 8MP camera and built-in kickstand are what are holding me back from getting the 3D. What are your thoughts?

  • ∑(((x-9)^n)/(9+7n)) n=0 to infinity. Find interval of convergence?

    I used to ratio test on this series, but i can seem to factor it in a way to get rid of the n's. Im getting the limit goes to infinity but thats not an answer i can pick.

  • how to solve ∑((-5)^-n) n=1 to infinity?do i have it right?

    The question asks for absolute convergence, conditional convergence, or diverges.

    abs((-5)^-n)=> ∑(1/((-5)^-n)) so it would converge by the geometric series test because r=1/5 <1

    So would this be conditionally convergent or absolutely convergent?
