A cat adopted us at our home 3 years ago. We left and the renters kept up the care of this cat. Now we've returned and the cat remains very friendly to us who feed it. Soon we will leave and hope whoever takes this home, cares for the cat. Question is does the cat show affection to whoever feeds him, or has he become attached to us? Taking him on a 1000 mile journey to our home doesn't seem the best option. What do you'all think?

So the sellers wants to sell the car, but needs to use it for a few days. Can the seller accept a deposit to hold the sale, but how does the buyer get his safeguard?

Today was step three in attaining a new bridge at the rear upper left side of my mouth. I had a cavity and the old bridge was destroyed to get to it. A root canal was done. Molding taken place and a temporary bridge put in. Today I went back for the permanent bridge to be put in place. My DDS said he was sorry, but the bridge formed by the lab was just a bit too small and I would have a gap. So he again put in a temporary bridge and a new molding. No charge. But cost for this procedure to date is $3700. I suggested to him to get another lab and was this done before. I didn't get a clear answer, only he trusts this lab. So to experience people, can labs blow it? Any other comments appreciated about what I had done welcomed.

About 6 feet off the ground we have a bird house place on a round probable 18" diameter board. The bird house has 4 sides to eat from. I keep the bird house pretty full of wild bird seed and purchase the expensive bag. 14 pound bag cost $20.00. Anyway we have mainly mourning doves and smaller birds, sparrow like feed daily. It's interesting to watch who allows who on the feeder. There are about 5 sets of these mourning doves, what I consider pleny of food for all, but some keep pecking at the other birds. Lots of rotation who feeds. Why? Then a Srub flies in and chases off the other birds. As said there is room for about 4 birds at a time on this feeder separate from each other, yet they chase off their fellow kind of bird. The sparrow hop up there for a bit, but prefer to nibble off the ground. The doves also eat the seed on the ground below the bird station. Anay more to do to get more harmony or that's the call of the wild.

Our church computer had a virus and was restored. We have the Maxtor One step Peripherals PTE One Touch II. Our backup documents are on it. We have searched and searched and can't find the software disc to open it up to retrieve our documents. Are we out of luck or is there a way to access it without the disc?

Two morning doves built a nest in an empty hanging flower basket that is outside our kitchen window. They spent a few days making the interior of the basket. Then the mother bird sat in there day and night for about 3 weeks. We could see the tip of her head from our kitchen window and would walk by the hanging basket, about 6-7 feet high from the ground, but not disturb it. We haven't seen the male bird for a couple of weeks. Now the mother bird has left the nest with two eggs inside, gone for over two days. So we are wondering, if she is gathering herself food, something happened to the male bird, the eggs haven't hatched and she gave up, or what is going on? Thanks for your expert input.

I'm only getting sound out of one side of my 3 pairs of speakers. The other 3 are not playing. I have the speakers built in the house and they are connected to my stereo. So I play a turntable, a cassette player, and a CD player. All three of these only play out of one channel. Looks like the speaker wires are hooked up. If I pull out a male plug on the CD player, no sound at all. So I have six speakers, one pair in the living room in the ceiling. one pair in the family room into the ceiling and one pair in the back yard separated by about 50 feet. Who knows what one plug in that runs all the equipment and speakers together? I have an amplifier. Also many wires that run into my Satellite TV, extra boxes to switch to VCR, a box that controls which speakers I turn on. It's a mass of wires. But I don't see anything disconnected. HELP. thank you for reading and giving suggestions.

I have a Sony Handi-cam Camcorder model TRV-19. It stopped working, so I replaced it with the same model. I wanted to playback my old recorded tapes and do some editing. Only when I put a tape in the replaced camcorder, the sound is distorted and occasional pixel fluctuations. Otherwise the replaced Camcorder takes good video, and new cartridges do not have the sound problem. I even played an old cartridge in an acquaintance camcorder and it worked fine. I have run a head cleaner through the replaced camcorder and tried settings that are related to sound. Nope, sound still distorted. I contacted Sony and they will redo a cartridge for $35 a piece. But it's not the cartridge. What is going on here and what can I do to rectify the problem? Any other ideas are appreciated.

We have a Shark steam mop. You put water in the container, plug it in, wait a bit, then push on the handle and steam comes out to clean your floor. Ours heats up, the red operation light is on and you can feel the heat in the container. Only when we push on the handle, nothing. I've looked for a hole to see if something is plugged up. There is a hole on the base of the mop, and I've run a thin stick into it. Still not working. Any suggestions? Thank you

It seems Nero Express can only burn an entirely new CD. I'm trying to pick only certain songs from a pre-made CD. It burns the entire CD then requests that I put in a blank CD which would burn the same entire CD fully. I don't want the entire CD, just trying to pick and choose certain songs from CDs and make a CD from a variety of CDs. Anyone know how Nero Express can do this, or is it just not capable. I can't seem to get it uploaded on my hard drive to rip later.

We all know the story of Limbaugh's outrageous incessant remarks about the Georgetown College law student. Limbaugh apologized for the name calling but not the rest of his remarks such as viewing her having sex on Youtube. Yes, I know, it's his satire. His apology includes that he lowered himself to the left's level,so therefore he's sorry about that. Now some say, yes, Rushie went over the top with this tirade, but hey, so do the liberals. Look at Bill Maher referring to Sarah Palin as a Cu-t, then giving Obama a million bucks. Why isn't Obama calling Maher on what he says? So you may agree both are wrong or are we comparing apples and oranges here and if so why? Is there a double standard here?

If you are a Rush Limbaugh audience supporter, do you agree that Rush fell to the level of the left by using those two words (S &P) to describe Miss Flock? He apologized for using the words, but it's the left who put Miss Flock up to testify for the birth control as medications for their apparent liberal agenda. His error , says Rush, was using humor instead of just stating what had happened. Therefore, Mr. Limbaugh stands by his principles against social activism. His only purpose for broadcasting is his audience. He also told the fleeing advertisers that they now have lost the business of his audience. So RL audience, any of you leaving, have thoughts about his stand, or can't wait until tomorrow to hear more of Mr. Bigg save America from Socialism.

Whenever anyone goes into their fenced- yard on the three sides of our neighbor's home, their small dog barks non stop until you go back in the house. The dog is left outside almost 24/7. Now, the neighbor's are great people, and admittedly, our dog barks sometimes, but its kept inside. So I'm not about to confront the neighbors about their dog. They must know, and are gone throughout the day. They do have another small dog that does not bark. Is there anything I can do to get the dog to stop barking beside when I go in the house.No,I won't harm it. I work in my yard for an hour and its an hour of this pesky dog barking. And can any experts tell me why this dog barks non-stop when people are in their surrounding fenced in yards.

Less Government intervention. Keep the government out of our lives. We can make our own decisions, like don't take our tax dollars from the wealthy and spread it around. Let Wall Street decide how to purchase mortgages and foreclose without all the regs. Forget minimum wage, let the market bear a fair wage. Drill wherever there is oil in the US so we're not so dependent. Let corporations send jobs where ever, it's about supply and demand. We have the right to own ozzie weapons and brandish them anywhere, by God if we want to. Oh, by the way, the Republican theme of government now promotes that you can't marry whoever you want. You can't use contraceptives, that's negating life. If you're pregnant, you must carry the pregnancy to term no matter what circumstance, or at least have an invasive procedure to humiliate you for a choice to abort. What happened to our liberties?
