  I’ve had bad skin for 10 years. Birth control makes me angry no matter what brand. I feel so much better off it but when I go off my skin breaks out causing me to go back on. What do I do?

• combined birth control pill: day 2 and no bleeding! anxiety! can anyone give me some reassurance?

  ive been on the combo pill for ab 3 years now - im not in the place or position in my relationship to be getting pregnant at all. the idea of it really really scares me... so bad I don't wanna have to test bc I don't know what id do if I was. but, people want to have sex and that's why im on the pill. recently, though, I've had terrible anxiety each month over if im pregnant or not. I had a scare a few months ago from a short, light period but my next period (last cycle) was normal and actually kind of heavy, starting on day 2 with very light spotting. this cycle, I haven't missed a dose at all but I have been taking it "around the same time" and not exact. I have taken it within the 515-715 (at the very latest) window. I normally take it at 515. anyways, its day 2 now of my placebo week and there's no sign of bleeding at all - no cramps really or anything. last week, I noticed some very small and short lived brownish mucus. I also left the house and took my last active pill 4-5 hours late which freaked me out. I again have myself on this anxiety train though. my bf and I do have unprotected sex, so no condoms or anything. I don't want any lectures or be told to test bc I know that - just thought someone could give me some reassurance. do you think im okay or should i be worried that I haven't started bleeding yet? im thinking ab an IUD or doubling up on protection to avoid this in the future.

• Yeast infection?

  I had a yeast infection in December, it was pretty bad with alot of burning/itching for a week. It went away when my period started, I didnt get treatment. Now for the past few months, I've been having discharge that looks like yeast infection but i dont have any itching/burning. Is it possible that the yeast infection is recurring because I didnt get it treated? It comes back at the same time every month, like right after ovulation.

  Hello, i recently lost my virginity and the guy i was with used a condom, this was last tuesday the 13... and i still took a plan B within that day... i was suppose to get my period on the 16 or 17 which is the day i always get it .. i didnt get it... im sure i am not pregnant because we both used protection... i have a question.. how long can it be delayed for ???

• Ladies would you opt out of a beach vacation if it was scheduled on your period?

  I’m feeling bummed out because me and 4 other ladies have a quick little trip to the beach planned except of course it falls on literally all of my period days, which my periods are kind of rough cramp wise and such. I’m still paying all my fees for the hotel and such since it was split between us but I don’t know if I should force myself to go and try to have fun or just not go but I feel bad even though I’d be paying all my prices. What would you do?

• Boric Acid suppository after Paraguard insertion?

  I have Boric Acid suppositories for my lady parts because I used to get BV pretty regularly I used it regularly for weeks and then as needed afterwards which was probably once every couple weeks. I just got my Paraguard copper IUD about 5-6 days ago, the bleeding has subsided but still occurring but very little, but there is a strong smell. I was wondering if it’s safe to put a suppository in me after my paraguard insertion a few days ago.

  I seem to have thick, white, dry discharge in the days after ovulation. it looks like a yeast infection to me, but i dont have burning/itching. is this normal for a 29 year old, not on birth control and not pregnant? I had this discharge at the same point of my cycle last month and this month.

• Tampons hurt and make me bleed. Why?

  I’ve been using tampons for over 10 years and this has never happened other than the last 2 months. I’ve googled everything I can and it’s not fitting. 

  So starting last months cycle my tampons sting going in progressively worse as my 5 day cycle runs it’s corse. I wear one correctly, far enough in etc (as I have my whole life, and even the same brand) and it fills up normal but STINGS when pulling it out. Then stings when inserting the new one. Like inside the vaginal canal it stings, I can feel it internally, not the tampon itself but the stinging from an “injury”.

  It had made me bleed twice now. I can tell this blood is not menstrual blood. As it is fresh and bright red. Not as it should be. 

  What is causing this all of a sudden? I’m not doing anything different than I have my whole life.

• I got my period three times in one month and now I haven't gotten it in 5 weeks. Does anyone know what could be wrong?

  Don't worry I have gone to the doctor and he sent me for blood testing but I can't get in for another month. So I am just wondering if anyone has any ideas of what could be going on!

  I got my period three times in a month (Feb 14-20, Feb24-28, and March 8-13) and they were full periods. But now it has been just over 5 weeks and I haven't gotten it again. I have been trying to figure out what I have been doing differently and this is all I could come up with. Since I haven't gotten my period I have taken like 10 pregnancy tests and they are all negative!

  - I had to restart my birth control in November (I was extremely sick for a month straight and never took it so I had to re-start) and I missed one day of it at the beginning of February but missing one day shouldn't have affected it this much

  - I stopped taking antidepressants in December

  - I started smoking week at the end of January and I do drink and smoke a bit (not sure if pot could be a factor)

  - Or it could just be stress with university as I have been overwhelmingly stressed since January

  Like I said I have an appt next month for blood work but I was just wondering if anyone has any ideas on what it could be :)

• My period is gone, nothing and on cycle day 49?

  My period is always regular, every 28-35 days, 4 days of active bleeding. This month I have I missed my period completely. I have taken 2 test, negative. I have a OB apt in a week because I have never not had a period and I want to make sure everything is ok. I don't use any birth control we use condoms. and I track my cycles with FLO and OVIA.  My husband and I want to  actively try for kids but not for a few more months till we get our house. I get my blood work done every 6 months due to meds I take to make sure everything is on therapeutic level (seizure). My A1C, thyroid and RBC are all within normal levels. My doctor said I might have to have blood work and maybe an ultra sounds but I'm soo anxious. I have no idea what to expect. Has anyone else had this happen. My last period according to FLO was 3/2/21 and I bled for 7 days which is very odd for me.

  Also to add, stress, no more than usual than any other months, no new meds, do not smoke, drink occasionally. Ladies please help. thank you!
