What is the little squigly line on a graph that you use to skip numbers?

For instance on the y axis it'll be like 10,20,30 then a little squigly line then 90,100,110.

Update:

My math teacher doesn't know so its for extra credit and i need some extra credit.

    i dont remember what it's called, but i know what you're talking about. it looks like a "Z" except slanted to fit on the line.

    I remember using these in 8th grade science all the time. My teacher called it a "stagger space." I hope that's the answer you're looking for. I've honestly never heard it called anything else.
