Win xp 0x0000008E error?

Blue screen shows the

error code: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005 0x80506831 0xB8098D54 0x00000000)

then, it dumps physical memory... and restart the system

It happens every time when I try to open control panel.

Except this, all other functions work properly.

I repaired the xp system, and I checked the Device Manager. Device dirvers are working properly, but it still shows error message like before.

So, anyone has ideas can help me out of this?

Update:

you really believe I will delete win32 folder ...? Come on a... man...

It is possibly a damaged or corrupted video driver. When you repair Windows XP, it will only repair the registry and folders of Windows but it will not include drivers(software for your hardware). You may want to consider and reinstall your video driver.

Before doing the step below make sure that you have with you the disc for your video driver or you know where to download it from.

Go to start > run > type devmgmt.msc.

It will open the Device Manager. Look for display adapter and expand the content. Under that you will see your video driver, right click it then click uninstall.. Reboot the system and try to do the process that gives you the blue screen again. If there is no blue screen then it is the video driver.. the is the time you'll need to insert your disc and reinstall it or to download and install it from the website.. give me further information so i can help further..

If it will not work. Use the Windows debugger so that you can determine what applciation or file is causing the issue. Select the Latest one on the list

If you need further help in using it, let me know.
