I sale Cable TV in Columbus, Ohio. It is getting cold. How can I find more leads instead of going door 2 door?
My job consists of going door to door sellng Cable TV. Knocking on apartment doors is easy, because people are always moving in and moving out. However selling to home owners is much more difficult. They don't move as often and you have to catch them when they are home. I leave literature but they don't call back. I don't want to walk arund for 8 hours a day in the cold. Where can I find more leads or more creative ways to sale cable. Most of the apartments in our area have been overworked by my coworkers. Any ideas on where I can find more leads? My company has it's favorites and is not willing to help.

Try putting your literature up in laundry mats and grocery stores. They usually have bullitin boards for posting adds. Also, there should be some local net providers in the area. Maybe contacting them to put adds on the local internet. Just some thoughts.
