LLC Management question?
Are members of an LLC agents of the LLC? Is there a distinction between member-managed LLCs and manager-managed LLC's when it comes to who is an agent?

If you are thinking of a Registered Agent, whom Notices of Litigation and state mail, a member of an LLC can be that person. They are not always the one and the same though.
A member managed LLC means that the organization is being managed by the members.
A manager managed LLC means that the organization is being run by people who are not members of the LLC.
