Pain in my shoulder.?

I feel a really sharp pain in my right shoulder when I try to do push ups. I need to workout my arms, so I'm asking if you know of any other arm workouts that are effective? Is this pail normal? I'm new to working out. Thanks!

    I'd let your doctor know about the pain to make sure you didn't do any real damage, as far as other exercises for your arms see the links below

    also make sure you alternate the days you work your arms and your legs. if you're going to do a full body workout take a day off from the weights. muscles need 48 hours to "heal" except your abs which you can workout everyday. and add some cardio into the mix.
