Rough Idle in 2001 Eclipse GT Spyder?
After I've been driving even a little, when I put my car in park, it idles really rough and I can see the tachometer dipping between 1,000 and almost 0. What can cause this?
When it dips, it doesn't stay there...it kind of fluxuates between dipping and revving on its own.

sounds like your car is misfiring, i would say first to check your spark plugs and your plug wires, mine 98 eclipse was doing the same thing and it ended up being a bad wire.

You could have a bad spark pug, try changing the plugs.
Clean your throttle body by the mechanic using a toulene based spray.
Your airfilter could be terribly clogged too, so please check and replace.
