can venus with a thin asmosfere be less hot?

i dont know but

his dense atmosphere produces a run-away greenhouse

maybe with an thin asmosfere like mars??or maybe in our orbit..lol i think u just have to be in the right lenght from the sun .........

    If Venus had no atmosphere at all HER average temperature would be about 50 degrees c as opposed to what it is now. Even the slightest atmosphere would cause a greenhouse effect upping the temperature. If Venus had a Mars type atmosphere it wouldn´t be as hot as it is today but it would still be hotter than 50 degrees C. The old girl never stood a chance...

    Venus with a thinner atmosphere would be cooler. The thick atmosphere retains the heat more.

    When you answer questions, could you please stop posting huge amounts of plagiarized material, (sometimes completely irrelevant, as well)? And could you stop giving thumbs down to every answer you see prior to posting your own?

    (Or after someone answering your question. Believe me, there is no one else in this forum who would give me a thumbs down for saying that.)

    I think so, a thin atmosphere would let go a big amount of heat.
