Adding a picture to my website.....?

I have the picture uploaded into my ftp client or website, and on my index page I have it as

The picture name is obviously vegas1.jpg, but it only comes up as a small red X. Something else I can try? I also tried the file path <IMG SRC="C:\blackdraft\imagesvegas1.jpg"> and that didnt work........... help please, lol, this picture kind of makes the site lol

may be your server in not able to load the image the image as you see a small red cross.
