How do you tell the difference between a genuinely anxious person and one who is lieing to you?

What body language and other things should a person look for to distinguish between the two?

There are ways to tell when someone is lying...but it have to be really observant, and even then you still can't be totally sure.

    Signs of someone lying include:

    Pupils enlarge

touch the face, especially around the mouth

have a hard time maintaining appropriate levels of eye contact

The pitch of their voice changes...usually gets a little higher

    Throat clearing

    blushing

    fidgeting

they may begin to talk faster...to quickly get the lie out.

    Hope this helps! :)

Anxious people tend speak rrapidly, and focus on fearfulness.
