  • How to save animations in Photoshop CS4?

Under file I have no "save for web & devices" or "save for web" button, so I'm confused. This is what I was told to click but I don't have it so there must be another way?

  • Photoshop wont let me change colour. Help?

I'm using photoshop CS4. For some reason no matter what colour I choose it stays GREEN, no matter what brush either. So I tried to close and reopen the program but that didn't fix it, so I tried with a different image and even that didn't fix it. Help? I'm thinking I must have clicked something as it was working fine 10 minutes ago.

  • What are possible causes of sudden confusion?

About 90 minutes ago I was due to take my dose of Epilim. All of a sudden I got really confused, disorientated, couldn't get words out of my mouth & felt really spaced out. Then it was like I went on auto-pilot because I accidently took a different medication (Fluoxetine) and double the dose that I usually take.

What could cause this? I quite often get confused but I thought it was normal, and it's never caused me to potentially harm myself before!

  • Will laxative abuse affect the absorbtion of medications?

Today I was prescribed medication (fluoxetine and Epilim) and am wondering if my laxative abuse will make it difficult for my body to absorb them? Don't just tell me to stop taking the laxatives because I know I have to and I am trying.

  • Can you have mild depression and be suicidal at the same time?

I've had what would be described as mild depression for about 2-3 years. There are times when it's severe, but most of the time it's just like a dark rain cloud following me around, threatening to off-load it's storm at any moment.

However even when it's only mild, there's this nagging thought at the back of my head, or more often, the front of my mind..."Why don't you just throw yourself off a bridge because you know that life isn't going to get any better".

Would this still be considered mild depression if you were having thoughts of ending your life? I don't have the other symptoms of severe depression other than this.

  • Worsened period pain on Levlen ED?

I started taking Levlen ED three months ago to try to help with my heavy menstrual bleeding and abdominal pain. My GP said that it would work straight away. However, during these three months the pain has got worse! During the withdrawl bleed the pain is so bad that I cry and it's not reduced the amount of bleeding at all.

I can't make an appointment to see my doctor as she's really busy. Is worsened pain a side affect of taking this pill?

  • Will birds get scared if their cage is too big?

I have 3 budgies. I was at a pet store today and thinking of buying them this large cage I saw there as their current ones are quite small. It was about 1meter long, 2meters high and 80cms wide. However, a staff member said that the cage is too big for budgies as they will feel insecure with all the open space.

Is this true? Can a cage really be TOO big?

  • Help! Why is recovering from mental health issues so hard?

I've been seeing psychiatrists since I was 14 and am now 17. For brief periods of time I have been ok but for most of the time, i've either been too anxious to go anywhere, depressed and have had an episode of psychosis when I was 15. Everytime things start to get better I end up having problems again.

I've tried different therapies, medication and alternative remedies but it only seems to help for a short while.

How do I recover for good and avoid getting depressed, too anxious and how do I make sure I don't get psychosis again?

  • My online friend is making weird accusations?

I have an on line friend who is kind of like an "msn pen pal" and i've been talking to him for almost a year. I will call him *Jack*.

Jack and I are very similar in personality and initially, we got on great. Over time our friendship has been slowly disappearing due to him suddenly accusing me of weird things such as trying to manipulate him and betraying him.

    Here's what happened tonight...

Jack told me that he was reading a book about computers. I asked him if he wanted me to leave for now. He then said..."Stop it, your doing it again!".

I had no idea what I was doing but apparently he said he interpreted my asking him if he wanted me to leave as..."Yeah, I want to leave, but I want you to say you want me to leave, so I won't get blamed for this" (those exact words).

In the past, I've been offended by something that he said and stopped talking to him for a week and this has lead to him calling me an emotionally unstable manipulator, but then apologizing and saying that HE is the one with the problem.

Often at times in the middle of a seemingly normal on line conversation he will say things like..."stop it"..."just drop it"..."leave it alone"...etc and he wont elaborate on what i've said wrong.

He said that he's not sure if he trusts me, or anyone for that fact. Aside from that one time where I took offense to something he said, i've really done nothing to break the trust he had for me and it just seems that he's paranoid. I've told him that I'm not trying to get anything from him and that I'm being sincere and he goes from believing me to throwing wild accusations at me over the smallest of comments. He interprets almost anything as being suspicious.

What can I do to make our friendship better?

  • My goldfish has a growth on it's side?

I was feeding the fish this morning and I noticed that one of them has a growth on it's side. It looks like a tumor and it's kind of round, but doesn't seem to be affecting the fish at all.

It looks like it's been growing for a while and like I only just discovered it today as it can't get that big over night.

What could this be and how to I treat it?

    Thanks.

  • Purple Fingernails and lips?? Dizzy? (medical professionals help!)?

I often get purple fingernails and lips for no apparent reason. I also often get dizzy for what seems like for no reason. I just had a check up with my GP who said that everything seems fine...my Blood pressure was normal (120/80), am not deficient in anything as had tests a few weeks ago (and this has been going on for longer than a few weeks) and am a good weight.

I know that the doctor said theres nothing wrong but I have to admit that I'm sick of my hands and lips looking like that of a corpse and getting dizzy many times per day. What other things could cause this?

    P.S = I am a 17yr old female.

  • Who thought of the concept of time?

and how was it worked out that seconds, minutes, hours etc were an accurate measurement of time?

I've been thinking about this a lot lately and it really confuses me why there are 60 seconds in a minute and 60 minutes in an hour...why 60 and not any other number?

  • Is this a paranormal experience or not?

One night last year I was laying in bed with the lights off. I was staring at the wall when suddenly, a face kind of "morphed" from what seemed like dust and it appeared on the wall. At first i rubbed my eyes as i thought i was just seeing things, but then it didn't go away and began to develop "arms". It looked like it was trying to reach out and grab me and at this time i wasn't sure whether it was a ghost or if i was going mad. I hid under my covers for a few minutes and when I came out, it was gone.

I'm not a believer or a disbeliever in the paranormal, but it has crossed my mind that it may have been a ghost of some type. Opinions?

  • I want a hysterectomy...am I not allowed?!?

My periods are so painful and very heavy and stop me from leaving the house. I've been to my GP several times before and they've prescribed me several different meds which were ment to decrease the pain and make my periods lighter. However, they've not worked.

I'm 16 and told my mother that I want a total hysterectomy. However, she said that the doctors wont perform that on me because of my age and because I may want children in the future. However, I don't want kids - I just want to get rid of my reproductive organs because they are causing me such greif! How would I convince a doctor to perform this surgery on me?

  • Would a person be charged with attempted murder if...?

they tried to stab someone, but the knife never inflicted any wounds because the person ran away in time?

If not, what charges would be pressed? I know this would depend a lot on what country/state a person is in, but in general, what would happen to the offender?

  • Pap smear nerves - help! (women only)?

I'm almost 17 and apparently I am due for a pap smear. I've never had one before. I've read about what happens during the exam so am prepared for that. The thing is, I was raped during childhood and have PTSD. I don't even like seeing people hugging in public so I have no idea how i'm going to handle this exam, or even if I'm going to handle it!

Has anyone ever been in a similar situation to mine? What did you do? Any advice for how to get through the exam without completely freaking out!

  • Causing physical sensations by thought?

Ok...this is going to sound really weird but I want to know if i'm not the only one who can do this.

I recently noticed that if I think of a certain sensation I can feel it in my calf muscles while being completely physically still. It's not pain, but almost like a tingling sensation that makes me want to move my legs around.

Is this a physical reaction to a thought or completely psychologically based? Also, can anyone else do this?
