Purple Fingernails and lips?? Dizzy? (medical professionals help!)?

I often get purple fingernails and lips for no apparent reason. I also often get dizzy for what seems like for no reason. I just had a check up with my GP who said that everything seems fine...my Blood pressure was normal (120/80), am not deficient in anything as had tests a few weeks ago (and this has been going on for longer than a few weeks) and am a good weight.

I know that the doctor said theres nothing wrong but I have to admit that I'm sick of my hands and lips looking like that of a corpse and getting dizzy many times per day. What other things could cause this?

P.S = I am a 17yr old female.

Update:

I also get a sharp pain my my chest which lasts for a few seconds and happens several times per day and don't know whats causing this.

Update 2:

Yes i did tell the doctor and she said everything seemed fine at the time.

    Did you have any kind of cardiac testing? If you're still having these symptoms even after seeing your doctor, then you either need to go back to your doctor demanding answers or seek a second opinion. There has to be a cause for your problems and your doctor should keep looking until they find it.

    Raynaud's disease and Raynaud's phenomenon are rare disorders that affect blood vessels. These disorders are marked by brief episodes of vasospasm (narrowing of the blood vessels). Vasospasm causes decreased blood flow to the fingers and toes, and rarely to the nose, ears, nipples, and lips. The fingers are the most commonly affected area, but the toes also are affected in 40 percent of people with Raynaud's.

    When this disorder occurs without any known cause, it is called Raynaud's disease, or primary Raynaud's. When the condition occurs along with a likely cause, it is known as Raynaud's phenomenon, or secondary Raynaud's. Primary Raynaud's is more common and tends to be less severe than secondary Raynaud's.

    When you have primary or secondary Raynaud's, cold temperatures or stressful emotions can trigger attacks. During these attacks, there is a brief lack of blood flow to the affected body part(s), and the skin can temporarily become white then bluish. As blood flow returns to the area, the skin turns red. The affected areas can throb or feel numb and tingly. With severe Raynaud's, prolonged or repeated episodes can cause sores or tissue death (gangrene).

    Allow me to educate you where the school system failed you. First, he is 1/2 black which means he has darker pigment in his skin. In case you weren't aware, lips have skin. Second, being a smoker darkens your lips as well. But now that he's stopped, they may go a shade lighter. Now that you are armed with all of this information, do you feel better?

    Go straight back to your GP, or maybe better still go to the Emergency Dept. Doesn't sound fine to me, but I am not a doctor. If nothing is found to be wrong this time at least you will have peace of mind everything has been checked out properly,
