The Gospel of Barnabas exists in two extremely late manuscripts. Both 16th Century. One in Spanish. One in Italian. No earlier manuscripts exist.

By contrast, New Testament manuscripts that date from before the Diocletian persecution in 303 (which involved mass burnings of Christian manuscripts) exist for every NT book except for 1st and 2nd Timothy.

A false gospel called the Gospel of Barnabas is mentioned on a late 5th Century list of forbidden books, no ancient manuscript has ever been found, so no carbon dating is possible and a 5th century book that does not exist outside of Islamic lies.

Sad Muslims have to lie to justify their death cult religion of Islam.

The Gospel of Barnabas we have today is based on Spanish and

Italian manuscripts that date to 15-16th Century Spain, not the

    1st Century.

Scholars believe that this gospel was forged by Muslims (the Moors) to bridge the theological gaps between the Bible and the Koran.

The Italian manuscript is generally dated around 1600 AD, and the Spanish version closer to 1800.

    Anachronisms in the manuscripts

Chapter 152 describing wine being stored in wooden casks, which were not widely used in the Roman empire until about 300 years after the time of Jesus.

Chapter 91 refers to the “40 Days” as an annual fast, but fasting for 40 days during Lent cannot be traced back further than 325.

Quotes from the Old Testament correspond to the readings in the Latin Vulgate, which Saint Jerome did not even begin work on until 328.

In chapter 217. The last sentence states that 100 pounds of stone were placed on the body of Christ and this would lead us to believe that the gospel was penned recently: the first use of the pound as a unit of weight dates to the Ottoman Empire in its dealings with Italy and Spain. Not during the time of Jesus.

There are many more mistakes as well..

If the Gospel of Barnabas had indeed been written by the apostle as it claims, then it should not contain so many egregious errors

There is no Barnabas Bible. You are referring to the Muslim forgery called the Gospel of Barnabas. I strongly encourage you to do some research on that pseudoscripture. It shouldn't take long to realize that it is a fake gospel written by a Muslim for the sake of supporting the idea that Mohammad was foretold by prophecy. Thankfully, the author of that fake scripture made several errors, just like Mohammad did in his Quran. You should be asking yourself: if Islam is real, why are there so many people making hoaxes and frauds to support Mohammad and his religion? The answer is simple. Islam is based on lies, from a clever salesman who wanted to be much more than he really was.
