Have you bought a boat? How often do you go out on it?

Question

My husband wants to buy a boat. We live at the sea - not on the beach, but 20 minutes drive away. Have you bought a little boat for fishing and how often do you go out on it?

I want to know how many people have a boat and don't use it regularly, or whether it is the soul purpose of the weekend, is to go out on the boat and get your fishing gear on?

If you do, what are the reasons and if you don't why did you buy the boat in the first place?

I take mine out 3 times a year. Would love to go out more but the nearest lake is 70 miles from here. That makes the gas add up fast.
