Virus Leftovers? help...?

My computer was recently inflicted with the Virus Trigger (Zlob Trojan). I have used multiple spyware removal freewares and my problems have all been solved except that my Internet does not work. When I open internet explorer, it attempts to go to the home page, but a white screen remains while it says connecting...as that window freezes. Any help? Here is a list of what I have done to try to solve it:

--Run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (3 times)

--Run Avast Anti-Virus (Once)

--Run SmitFraud Fix (Twice)

--Run Advanced System Care (Once

--Turn off system restore and run Malwarebytes' again (by Yahoo Answers' recommendation).

After I turned off system restore, I realized that the easiest thing to do would be to go back to a previous restore point, but turning off system restore deletes all the restore points...aaaaa! any help? please! i cant wait for this to be over.

Update:

I have Trend Micro PC-Cillin Internet Security.

I have the exact same problem.

I have asked a question but longer and more complicated than this. Nobody has answered so far. I think that the virus MAY have deleted some important network files in our computers (despite me have Norton 360 V2 and Drive Sentry Protection AND Windows defender AND Windows firewall for exactly this kind of thing not to happen.

I know how you feel right now, but I have no answers so far. If there is no decent answer soon, then we should go to our nearest computer stores that deal with these types of problem. Even though it may cost a lot, they will probably solve our problems in the end. Tell me if you do find an answer soon anyway.

I just assisted someone today in regards to this same issue. He thanked my 100 times for this. You can try the same link at http://www.spyware-techie.com/virustrigger-removal... which he tried. He forgot to remove the registry entries and that was the trick to solving this issue. You may want to look at the instructions listed on that link. It is free advice that does not require you buy anything.

Buy a good internet security program and do a full system scan with it.

I recommend Trend Micro Internet Security, ive had it for my computer for over 4 years and not a single virus.

What you did is real good and usually fixes the issues but since it did not you likely have a DNS resolver virus which is beyond what help is offered here, so please visit the link for advanced help.

Reformat your computer so your computer returns to factory condition then the problems should be solved.
