Jeremy Lin the next Chinese star in NBA?

With Yao and his repect along with success in the NBA,can this young chinese guard from Harvard.become the next star?or its just talent in the Ivy league?

    He is a very talented point guard with dribbling skills, shooting 42% from 3 point range and about 5 assists per game.

    Unfortunately he plays for Harvard, not a terrific basketball team. Although they did upset Boston College this year.

    NBA teams want to get stars from a big name team like Duke, UCLA, Florida etc.

    And they want a guy who will come out of school early like 19, 20 year old.

    Jeremy Lin might stay for his senior year and graduate with a Harvard degree. Most NBA teams don't like that.

    Jeremy Lin. Haven't heard that name in a while. He played HS ball for Palo Alto in California. He led them to the DII state championship over national powerhouse Mater Dei. The Ivy League isn't really known for producing many NBA caliber players, probably due to their lack of ahtletic scholarships and rigorous academic standards. It would be cool to see Lin in the NBA. I think it's a longshot, but I haven't really seen him play in college, so you never know.

    i am a big fan of Jeremy Lin. i watched several of his games and i think he has a decent amount of potential. i hope he is good enough to play for the Celtics one day.
