Do Halo 3 map secrets work on Xbox Live?
Do Halo 3 map secrets work in matchmaking? For instance, in the map, "The Pit" there is an empty room on each side of the map towards the top (I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about). So in Forge I can use the brute shot to jump up there, however when I did it in matchmaking it wouldn't work.
So does Bungie patch the maps up only on Xbox Live, and not in forge?

Yep everytime you play the map loads right. So this means that Bungie is loading all the patches onto the map so all those secret spots aren't available to you anymore.
But if you play custom games and forge the spots work cause the patches aren't loaded onto your Xbox permanently because you aren't playing online.
Haha if that doesn't work jump on top a teammate, use the brute, and the regenerator so your shield wont deplete. And somehow you can get up there.

the update patched up all those kinds of spots. if you dont save the patched version of the map then youll be playing on the old version with the top room accessible.
