how long will cooked mince keep in the fridge for?

I have some mince that has been kept in the fridge in an air tight container. It was cooked on tuesday and it is now sunday, so it has been there for five days. Will it still be alright?

Thanks

If your fridge is really cold it should be okay, but don't leave it any longer

Throw it out unless you want food poisoning.

I only keep any cooked food in the fridge for 3 days. If its freezable I freeze it. Although with 3 kids & a husband not much lasts past the 2nd day. I will only reheat food once after its cooked. Just take enough that you need & reheat not the whole lot unless its going to be eaten straight away.

Cooked mince is generally good for a week to 10 days, if it's sealed in a good container.

You should not keep your food, cooked or uncooked in your fridge for more than 3 days. If you keep them in the freezer it should not be more than 4 weeks.

I am a chef and I have to pass food safety exams, therefore, I do know what I m writing about. Over 4 days is dangerous. Food poisoning is really nasty. you really, really, do not want to take risks.
