me and my husband have been trying since mid february to get pg. Well on march fourth I took ANOTHER pregnancy test praying it wasn't my fourth negative. Well I took one of those digital ones and got a clear pregnant read! Needless to say I was estatic and wanting to call everyone I knew but I had to tell my hubby first. The only problem was my husband is in the army and was on a two week field training exercise! Later that day I got an unexpected call from him saying he was coming home tomorrow... Five days early!!! I detailed our house and got everything ready to tell him. I decided to put the hpt in the medicine cabinet facing so when the cabinet was opened "pregnant" was clear as a day! The next day he comes home and I fiured he'd start putting his stuff away right then so I was getting antsy! 6 hours later he's putting things up from his trip and opens the cabinet and saw the test! I was in the kitchen cooking and he comes in with this big goofy grin and kneeled infrint of me and kissed my belly! It was amazing! Congrats on ur pregnacy and God Bless!!!

For my husband, we have been waiting on a test result of his so that we could know whether or not he could be promoted in his job. It has been VERY stressful. Finding out that I was pregnant was a pretty huge surprise. I went to visit him after work and handed him a first card that said something like, "I know it isn't fun waiting for news..." blah, blah, blah. I wanted to acknowledge that he was going through a rough time waiting for his test. Then, I handed him the second card. I must have had tears in my eyes because he took it out of my hand and said, "oh my god, are you pregnant?" with this goofy grin on his face. :) The card was a funny "you're expecting" card with my own handwritten mushy sentiment.

For my parents, I gave my mom a card for Mother's Day yesterday. I wrote on it how great she was, and how I wish I could give her a present to match. Then I told her, God Willing, she would have to wait until January. :) She had to read it a couple of times, but she and my dad are so excited now.

We were trying to get pregnant so it wasn't a complete shock to hubby. I made him a card from our daughter who is 2 years old that said she was going to be a big sister and taught her to say "I'm going to be a big sister!" We told our family on Easter. We got some plastic Easter eggs and put some jelly beans in them with a slip of paper that read "We are spilling the beans! She (daughter's name) is going to be a big sister! We are due October 20!" Most everyone got a big kick out of that. :)
