United States Naval Academy?

I am a junior and just started looking into the admission process for USNA and West Point. Is it to late for me to apply seeing as though I just submitted the preliminary application and still need to have that approved and then get nominations and that approved all before July. If you have been though this process or know about it is is to late for me too apply for next year (fall 2010)

Update:

After graduation, I would choose the Marine Corps option if I were to go to USNA or the obvious Army option for West Point

Good luck. I dont think its too late but you need to hustle big time. Calling your congressman's office right now kinda thing.

I tried to get into the USNA as an enlisted marine. No dice. Had to go to a civilian college (which was a lot of fun actually) and then go to OCS (which is like a 10 week long root canal without painkillers).

Stick to your goal, and if the academies dont take you, doesnt mean you cannot lead marines. You just have to go through NROTC or OCS.

i do no longer think of so! you would be chosen to flow to flight college after commencement and you will take magnificent classes, like aeronautical engineering. The Academy prepares you to be an officer first!
