  • Itchy red bumps/splotches?

It started behind my ears 2 days ago and spread down my neck and to my back and chest, I haven't used anything new, and hydroccortizone ointment is helped with the itching. It is the worst behind my ears and red and splotchy but my back is just raised bumps and my chest has red single bumps, does anyone have any ideas what it is, it might be related to hot tub chemicals??

  • United States Naval Academy?

I am a junior and just started looking into the admission process for USNA and West Point. Is it to late for me to apply seeing as though I just submitted the preliminary application and still need to have that approved and then get nominations and that approved all before July. If you have been though this process or know about it is is to late for me too apply for next year (fall 2010)

  • Marine Corps--MOS 5831 waiverable?

One requirement is 19 years of age but it didn't say "not waiverable" so I was curious as to if it was waiverable or how could I find out...If not, what MOS can I have to do lateral movement into it later. I can just ask my recruiter later but if anyone knows please let me know thanks :)

  • Should I go active duty or reserve-USMC?

I am still having trouble deciding on whether or not I want to go in as active or reserve. I definitely want to go to college and would like to be somewhat close to home for a year or so after I graduate but at the same time I like the idea of traveling and being a full time Marine and then going to school after 4 years but then again I want to get the whole "college experience" How is the "party life" as a Marine? and How should I make this decision. I don't want to go to college first and go in as an officer though I like the benefits I would prefer to go in as enlisted...oh and how can I get my parents to consent to DEP?

  • How will one D effect college acceptance?

I am a junior this year and last semester I made a D(the first and only D I've ever made) in pre-cal, it was all the teacher (I'm not the only one saying that every student who had her pretty much agrees) she didn't have a teaching degree and she wasn't certified in teaching (she is in the process of getting it) we only made it through 5/10 chapters with zero competence! I am retaking the class this semester and as of now I am making a 99 average with a teacher who is much more qualified and has been teaching for years! Will the school put my 1st or 2nd semester class on my transcript? If they take the 1st semester grade how will I be able to explain it to colleges?

  • Voice your opinion on Barack Obama as the new president?

Look how far we have come as a nation I am overwhelmed at the fact we have a president who has so much promise. Whether or not you like Barack Obama, whether or not you agree with him the least you can do is respect him, he's accomplished something you haven't he now has the responsibility of leading this nation, our nation. I know there are mixed feelings from close-minded conservatives who aren't open to a president who isn't white. What I can't stand is the people who say "he isn't black he is half white"...when these are the people who see someone on the street corner with dark skin and assume they are black. and WHAT DOES IT MATTER WHAT COLOR HIS SKIN IS??? You don't have to admit it or defend it for that matter, however, you should just value the fact that you live in such a great country where you can disagree without being prosecuted. Whether or not you agree with me on my beliefs, Barack Obama is our new president.

  • Help getting Parental consent?

I am 16 and have roughly 6 months before I can enlist in Marine DEP. (Not interested in early graduation) I believe the DEP would be most beneficial and if I get a full ride somewhere next year I can always get out...Not that I would want to it just gives some comfort to my parents. I am interested in combat photo, and I believe the experiences I would gain and the people I would meet as a Marine would help me to become a better civilian, I am not interested in becoming an officer even with better pay ect It's just not for me. Both my parents are very hesitant to sign with me mainly because they are afraid that I don't know what I want...things like that, how can I prove to them that I have made up my mind, and what can I do to persuade them to support my decision??
