Why do roofs of houses are made of steel?
Not like buildings... made of concrete?
Why?

Steel outlasts shingles significantly. It's more expensive, but for most people a steel roof is the last one they will need to install. The lifespan, properly maintained, is well over 50 years. Hope this helps.
