Warriors Fans - No 6?

I understand Joel Moon came over to the Warriors as he prefers to play No 6, but from what I have seen of him he is not a ball player, but more a ball runner. This reminds me of when they tried Ropati at the same position. Are the better to give the young fella Shawn Johnson a run during S.o.O when we play a depleted team (and hopefully win) at no 6 and Moon bac to Centres with Ropati. I watched Young Johnson the last few weeks and I think he will become a fantastic No 6 even though playing No 7 at the moment. People always say to early or to young but I think that is just a load of junk. Interested to hear your thoughts on No 6, doesn't have to be Johnson but I can't see Moon offering to much and we are up to what, round 10?

Update:

Great thoughts. I never thought of Locke, but then do you think he would run at no 6 or Fullback? Good answers guys but we might leave 1 person out of that, I wont give you a clue to who it is but his name starts with H, haha. Nah all good!

I think there is a lot to be said for the 5/8 that can share the playmaking duties with the half-back, rather than just another ball runner. If the Warriors don't lift their game for this season, I can see some younger players getting blooded for next season. Shawn Johnson could be one of those players.

Mate give him some time look at Jamie Lyon last year at number 6 everyone was bagging him out saying he isn't a 5/8th.

Then about round 16 or so he just clicked and was on fire.

It takes time to become a great number 6 which Moon needs.

The rest of the team need to step up.

We're past Round 10, this weekend will be Round 12.

Bring in Locke or bring in Johnson, the current squad is not working well enough so changes need to be made. 3 wins out of 10 is atrocious and the status quo is obviously not working,

Just a stab in the dark here. Yeah Johnson has great talent and Moon has been in the game almost as long as Johnson. I still think Moon has a lot ot offer but lacking in guidancee from senior players.. i also say that even though that Johnson has proven himself, he too needs time to grow with he game. As far as I know he is still a newbie to it and I wouldn't really want to throw him in the deep in just yet.

Sorry to hijack your question lensta but everyone should report this Hhh troll, he's an idiot.

I think the Warriors should give the young fella a go, he'll bring some enthusiasm in and it's good to give the younger players a run during Origin period.

Agree with comments regarding Joel Moon at no,6. Sack the guy is a big obstacle; he is not a thinking player.

Let him have a couple of games there if he really wants to play there that badly, but if he is more of a ball runner, send him to the centres of wing again.

    Bring on Kevin Locke!
