  • Let relook at peoples thoughts on teams to hit the top 8?

Currently there are a lot of good teams not performing. At the beginning of the year so many people predicted that certains teams will dominate. Do you still believe your first top 8 would be current? He is my list as from the 1st round

    1. Melbourne

    2 Manly

    3 Rabbits

    4 St George

    5 Warriors

    6 Titans

    7. Tigers

    8. Panthers

    What are your thoughts.

  • Kiwi's prove why they are World Champions?

We battered the Australian Team all night, we looked better in the halves and only Greg Inglis kept Australia in the game. Kiwi's outplayed the Australians all over the park and were lucky to get a draw, come finals it wont be so easy, as we all know the Kiwi's only get better when they play together longer.

  • Should Rugby League Design a Pacific Cup at the same time as the 4 Nations?

I would love to see a Pacific Cup of open styled Rugby League. This would also help develop the nations who have, realistically the best talented Rugby League & Rugby Union players, weather born in the Islands or offshore. Genetically, Poly's are the best design for contact sports!! Only lacking the mental game but if they are continually left out then they will always stay a 2nd rated team with the most potential of any nations.

    Your thoughts.

  • Coaching Junior Rugby League tips?

A friend is looking at coaching around the 14 yr old group in Rugby League. No real experience at coaching but his pure love for the game make him want to try. • Dear Ivan Cleary.............................From Warriors Faithful?

    Dear Mr Cleary,

Now that we have pretty much stuffed up any hope of making the finals can you please get rid of Jessie Royal, Jacob Lillymen, Denan Kemp & Joel Moon and while you are at it can you please recruit Michael Wit back from Union, Roveli back for the Cowboys and Fien back from the Dragons because it seems like you have killed a great halves combination (going off last years performances) and we have replaced it with a monopoly of players. I have the outmost respect for Stacey but it may be time to try and blood young Shawn Johnson from the Toyota cup and also Likiliki the strong running Centre. You may shake your head in disagreement Mr Cleary but your plan so far is none better so blooding in younger blokes isn't going to make matters any worse. I wish you all the best for 2010 and hope that you can take a leaf from the Bulldogs and recruit players who are going to bring something into the team that is going to benefit the team. We brough in Joel Moon because he didn't want to play Centre for the Bronco's and what happened, we get rid of Witt and now Moon is back to the Centres because he was no good at no 6. Royal is worse than Tuimavave so I don't know if we got a cheap deal there or what, Lillyman use to be good and still shows glimpses but so does an old dog in a race against a turtle and Kemp, well just look at his stats. I will always back the Warriors (even though the heart gets a kicking every week) but sooner or later someone needs to have a brain snap in the admin offices and coaching staff and realise that this is a real competition.

  • Time to sack Daley & the rest of the Selectors?

Interesting to note that before the City vs Country quote me if I'm wrong, but Daley said that Kimorely wouldn't get a shot because he was looking at the future of NSW Team and Kimorely was to old? I thought City vs Country was a trail for the best players in there spots to show there stuff, and to my understanding 2009 has been and was up to they point dominated by Kimorely being the must consistant number 7 in NSW and in the NRL. Soward has been the most number 6 and still couldn't even make the 40 man squad or a camp just to be in that enviroment so he can get the feel and experience of that hype. I think Daley and co just shot themselves in the foot with there rediculous selection policy and I think give selection to people like Gus, Tommy Raudonikis & Des Hasler at least you know they will choose who should be there not who shouldn't. How did Mitchell Pearce make the 40 man NSW Squad?

  • Do you think Wanye Bennett is a great coach or a great motivator?

I realise that it takes a bit of both but I only ask to find out what people think because he can perform mircales with less than likely people. Look how well Bronco's done under him, Queensland, Australia and NZ to win the World Cup and now the Dragons. It seems like he really knows how to develope peoples beliefs. He doesnt have the stars under him like he use to and can still pull off performances. Your thoughts.

  • Who will be droppped from the NSW Team?

I can't believe know one has given it to Campese and Wallace. They sucked and that is saying it nicely, don't get me wrong Campo is an awesome player, but he might be another Willie Mason when it comes to Origin, Big and Hopeless. He didn't nothing and that is an understatement. Peter Wallace, well I have seen him play 2 S.o.O games last year (the first one then also) and in bopth games he has been found wanting. He offered nothing, never controlled his team when they had the ball and didn't do anything to worry the Marons. don't even start talking about how well they played last week or a month back for there club because the time was last night to prove themselves and they were both gun shy and in the end fired blanks. Anyone else you think didn't stand up?

  • Warriors Fans - No 6?

I understand Joel Moon came over to the Warriors as he prefers to play No 6, but from what I have seen of him he is not a ball player, but more a ball runner. This reminds me of when they tried Ropati at the same position. Are the better to give the young fella Shawn Johnson a run during S.o.O when we play a depleted team (and hopefully win) at no 6 and Moon bac to Centres with Ropati. I watched Young Johnson the last few weeks and I think he will become a fantastic No 6 even though playing No 7 at the moment. People always say to early or to young but I think that is just a load of junk. Interested to hear your thoughts on No 6, doesn't have to be Johnson but I can't see Moon offering to much and we are up to what, round 10?

  • More evidence in the Johns case, your thoughts?

    Now we have a Tania Boyd stand forward and say that this mysterious young lady from NZ was actually braggin about events that took place with the NRL boys the next day to colleagues. All of your ladies who rubbished John's names and guys, what's your thoughts now? A few things to consider;

    - How credible is the victims story or recollection of events now?

    - Why would Tania Boyd make these allegations with nothing to gain?

    - She the case be reopened and all people put on the lie detector?

    - Why name and shame these guys if it is found to be untrue (via the lie detector), if its not illegal and then where's the wrong (only if discovered that it was all made up from previous steps)?

    - If she was hard done by, then does she seek (if already hasn't) compensation from the NRL or the Sharks even?

  • Matty Johns is a Man's Man?

A Man's man. Someone who doesn't dob and accepts his actions, someone who will always stick up for his friends even knowing he would lose a fight, someone who can go on National television and be humiliated for no such reason (as it is already found that what he did was consensual) and continue to apologise, a bloke that has committed the worse sin against his wife and yet will front to be humiliated more. This guy has done wrong but not against anyone else but his Wife and family!!! Thats a Man's man.

  • Who am I ?.....................................?

Born in the year of a Full Moon several months after a successful sweet potato harvest. I have a common English name that I like as it sounds quite posh thought not correct. I am 5'5inches tall but can look quite big on the television. I play many positions weather I'm a forward or a back. I always play hard and have had the great privilege of representing my country where, "I shook up the world" and showed my already known potential in the last tournament. There is always speculation about me and controversy surrounding me with issues yet to be confirmed. I have told the world my truth yet they still continue to search for there truth. Who am I?

  • Why has NZ sevens got backwards so fast?

I asked a few weeks back if Teichs should retire as Coach and let another step up and many loyal people said no, can i ask now, Why is it that countries like Kenya have been able to develope a lesser pick of players from there National Rugby Pool and we seem to be heading backwards. We haven't performed yet once this 7 series and as a NZ 7's supporter I am really concerned that we are in the state that we are. We can't win everything every year but we aint even in the picture to conpete.

  • Shawn Johnson - NZ Warriors Toyota Cup Team?

I read all the hype that Andrew Johns had given him a few weeks back through the Sydney Papers and I've seen his Touch Video on You Tube, but when I saw him play against the Bronco's u20 he looked lazy and pretty average. Did I catch him on a bad day? I hope someone can fill me in on how good of a League player he really is.

  • Why is Simon Mannering not played in the Centres?

    I watched Simon Mannering handle Folau and others through the Rugby League World Cup easily only missing I think it was 2 tackles through the whole period he played Centre. Why is he used as a Second Rower when I think he and Ropati were far better combination in Centres than Tate & Ropati. This would be my team to play Bronco's;

    1. McKinnon

    2. Kemp

    3. Mannering

    4. Ropati

    5. Tate

    6. Moon

    7. Fien

    8 Sam Rapira

    9. Henderson

    10 Pricey

    11. Ukuma Ta'ai (Has huge wraps but made a lot of errors in his debut)

    12. Lillyman

    13. Luck

My Bench would stay the same as named but Kirk wouldn't be in my team. I just think Mannering will control Folau better than anyone. You thoughts?

  • Stacey Jones. Would you select him for the Kiwi's.?

Stacey coming back from a WHOLE YEAR OFF professional league and to still carve it, man he will show up alot of number 7's this year. Would he still be in your Kiwi's Team if he became available and at who's expense Benji or Fien (if they were the current top 2 7's available for the Kiwi's this season)? Remembering that Stacey has not been in the NRL for 3 odd years and what he done at Manly, he can only get better.

  • NZ 7's lose again. Tiech should give it up!!!?

I've watched all of NZ 7's games in the current season and the prvious years and after watching a average Wales squad beat us i think it is time for new vision and direction. My concern in the current NZ Team is, "where is the out and out speedsters"??? It is true, "don;t fix what's not broken" my question is how long do you wait to fix it when it is broken. Rushie to take top job. He has a lot of Tiech in him but also has a great understanding of touch football where you have to beat a player with the pass and ball speed. I don;t know if he is or is not but maybe someone like Peter Walters (Mr Touch) to be an advisor of some sort!!! My thoughts anyway!!

  • How does a bubblein your car tyre affect your car handling?

Pre: Tyre popping. I have a mechanic who told me that my car tyre has a bubble in it. I htought it was my wheel bearings (which I've heard a lot before going), would these 2 situations cause the same symptoms? Noisey left front wheel, a little bit off pull (not much) to the left. When I stop after a long drive it sounds like a knocking noise for a few second, wynning sound coming from the front left drivers side. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I took it back to the yard because the car is under warranty.
