Chopin, Debussy, Ravel, Liszt (particularly "Un Sospiro"), Beethoven's sonatas, Rachmaninoff, are all among my favorite composers of piano music.
There are a ton of great pianists out there. Van Cliburn, Glenn Gould, Vladimir Horowitz, Maurizio Pollini, Sergei Rachmaninoff, Jeno Jando, Lang Lang, and many others both alive and dead.
If you like jazz I highly recommend Bill Evans, Keith Jarrett, McCoy Tyner, Brad Mehldau

Try Erik Satie's Gymnopedies (and his other music as well) and Ravel's Pavanne Pour Un Enfant Defunte. Also have a listen to some works by Debussy, and the 2nd (slow) movement of Ravel's and Shostakovich's piano concertos; here's the link to Shostakovich's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=twy4gaJeLqs

"Anything by Chopin" (thought I'd beat the lazy listeners to it).
Piano music does not count as a 'song'. Songs are sung by singers and have words. No voice, not a 'song'. Better to refer to 'pieces', 'works' or 'compositions' (or simply as 'music' as you did in the first part of your question).

If you want beautiful piano & orchestra music, I suggest listening to the second movements of piano concertos. Most are quite beautiful and relaxing.

It's a cover and it isn't classical, but it has nothing but piano and voice, and it's beautiful. Mad World by Gary Jules.
