HCG test at 7 weeks and 3 days??? Im so confused!!!!!?
I don't understand? Why would that want to test my levels again. I have already had 3 tests done and the levels were really good... Why would they want me to do it today and then friday if everything is going great!?
Well Jill... You see, I DID ask why they needed it... TWICE! But she wouldnt say why! So thanks for being a jerk! But Im pretty sure yahoo answers if to ask ? and got other peoples options! SO if you are going ot be rude, DONT ANSWER!

They did mine several times throughout my first trimester. Although I had a previous miscarriage and they were making sure my levels were increasing they way they were supposed to, so I'm not exactly sure why they would keep testing you if you haven't had any problems. I would ask them at my next appointment.

The range of normal in hCG testing is very wide. Besides, it's not the actual number that is important - it's the "doubling" time. Pregnancy hormones need to double every 36 to 48 hours for a healthy pregnancy. Your doctor is probably desiring acurrate doubling times. Good luck to you!

Have you miscarried in the past?
Maybe they are just making sure things are going good? I had a few of them also, not every week though. Ask your doctor.

Why don't you ask your DOCTOR this question? Only he or she knows why this test has been ordered again!
