Second, when my family and I were there for the month of July in 2007 we packed all hot summer clothes, yet it was raining most of the time. Like there was probably only a couple of dry days, but even if its dry its still pretty chilly. So pack jeans/trousers and maybe one pair of shorts or capris. As for shirts any nice dress shirts/blouses, t-shirts or tank tops. You probably wont be getting too much warm weather. Have a safe and fun trip! :)

Well it depends what you mean by "summer clothes". I live in California... and NO you cannot wear in England in the summer what you would wear here in the summer.

I went to England last July and I wore jeans and short sleved shirts, light jackets. Nothing too warm, but definately not flipflops and shorts either.

Also bring a few warmer clothes as well, especially if you are going North of London or into Scotland. I was there on the "warmest day of the year" in Scotland and I had to wear a pretty warm sweater and scarf.
