What kind of exercises should I do to improve the distance on my kicks?

I want to be able to add distance onto my kicks in rugby. This applies specifically to place kicks and conversions. If there are gym exercises or drills, I'd love to know them.

I am pretty accurate (first real session today). I can put a straight kick over from a decent-ish distance, and can put a touchline one over the bar, JUST. I see the pros put touchline ones over at the height of the posts, and slot penos from beyond the half way. How can I get that kind of range?

    First you need to get the technique right. A coach may help you with this or you can watch videos online.

    Then you need to know where to kick the ball. Theres a sweet spot on the ball to the right and just below the valve.

    Then its just simple physics.

    Force = Mass x Acceleration

    The greater the force the greater the distance.

    The mass is the weight that hits the ball so increase this with the right food and workout.

    The acceleration is the speed your foot travels to hit the ball. To increase this you must build your leg muscles.

    Honestly, the simplest way.

    I've been playing rugby since i was 4, back and fowards between league and union. I've kicked for every team ive played for.

    And i can boot a ball quite a nice distance at only 18.

    It may sound stupid, seriously. But when I visited the Islands a few times, they kick coconuts, may hurt a little bit, but got used to it.

    Since then, my kicking has really become alot better.

    Once again, sounds stupid. But i really mean it. Its good. No pain no game.

    First get your angle kicking right then go for the distance angle kicking best way is to place a few balls where u want to kick from then kick them over and do it all again but best get a coach to help
