Billy Elliot at TKTS?

Has anyone who has recently been in NYC notice if Billy Elliot is on the TKTS board? I know its gained a lot of popularity and I dont know if its now with the "un-boardables" like lion king, wicked and jersey boys.

Im going into the city on 9/13 for something and my mom and I wanted to see a show. the only tickets left on telecharge are $81.50..then you have to pay like another $10 for processing :( and we really dont want to spend that kind of money

so ya. billy elliot? tkts?

thanks!

No. You will not find Billy Elliot The Musical at the TKTS venue. That has been true since the show opened last fall, and I have been there twice this summer to see the show.

The show is basically selling to 95 to 100 percent audiences each night, and those numbers would have to come down quite a bit (hopefully they won't - terrific show) before you're gonna get em there.

At this short notice, I would call the Box Office Directly to see if there might be any rear mezzanine seats available. The theater offers great sight lines from the back of the small auditorium and the $41.50 seats at the back are just fine, really.

I found out when taking my mother to the show in June, that handicapped seating (my mom was in a wheelchair) is adjacent to the stage right orchestra section beginning with Row J or K. The wheelchair slot and the seat at the end of the row accompanying it are priced also at $41.50. A pretty good deal. Billy and Michael walk by you there at the start of Act II.

Even the $81.50 partial view seats are great and will likely go fast, real fast. I'd grab 'em. My friend liked the show so much, he gladly shelled out $126 for a front mezz seat to see it again. I guess I would too, for that matter, if that's all there were. Great show!

Oh,, and you can avoid the processing charge by going to the Broadway.com web site, clicking on Billy Elliot tickets, and processing your order printing out the tickets on your own computer printer. No charge for calling Box Office and having tickets held for you at Box Office either, I seem to recall.

Hope this is of some help.
