what is the probability that at least 2 share the same bday in a group of 5?
Really confused. If you can also explain what you did that would be awesome!

let us first find out the probability that none share a birthday
we take the year to be of 365 days
1st man could have any of 365 birthdates,
the 2nd man any of the remaining 364 & so on & so forth to give
P[none share birthday]
=[365/365][364/365][363]/365][362/365][361/365]
= 0.9729
so P[at least 2 share a birthday] = 1 - 0.9729
ans : 0.0271 or 2.71%
