Buying a Playstation 3?

Great choice! The PlayStation 3 comes with:

~The PS3 System

~USB Cable (For charging your controller)

~DualShock 3 (also says SIXAXIS on it because it has the motion function as well)

~Composite Cables (I suggest buying an HDMI cable online for less than $1.00 on Amazon)

~Manuals

~PlayStation Magazine Voucher

~AC Power Cord (no power brick!)

The PS3 controllers have built-in rechargeable batteries, meaning you don't even see it and charging it is as easy as charging a phone. Plug it in and let it sit. You can also charge while playing, of course.

No component or HDMI cable. It only comes with the composite cable. If you have a PS2's component cable,you can use that on the PS3.

The Dual Shock 3 has rechargeable batteries built in. It also comes with 1 mini-USB chargeable cable.

I have to agree with the rest that sadly you do need to buy a HD cable for yourself. It isn't in the box as usual HDMI gives a little more assurance that things work then AV Component but both ways are fine.

The Charge Cable for the PS3 controller is a stander usb cable you don't require to buy a "special ps3 charger cable"
