i have Purple/Blue Lines on my Plasma Screen?

Question

i have a Sylvania 42'' plasma screen.

whenever i watch any movie i notice this wide purple/blueish line that moves from the bottom to the top.  i dont know whats causing this.

i have component cables coming from my PS3 to my Monitor, however this issue pre-dates these cables.  other than that im not sure what my problem could actually be.

ill be glad to take any suggestions.

You're TV's toast. Your plasma tray is failing and your TV's about to be garbage. If you have a warranty, cash it in NOW. Failing is a slow process. . .might take months. . .but you're going to get more and more lines until you can't stand to watch it anymore. My 2 yr old has my latest Plasma casualty in his room now and it's got about 8 lines in the screen. My other dying plasma went in a dumpster when the lines got too bad. The part alone on my 42" Samsung Plasma would be $480. . .and that's not installed.

There are 3 step to repair blue screen error
