I need some encouragment :(?

I finsihed grade nine 4th in my class with a ton of awards, and a scholarship at my job. I just now finished grade 10 with aweful marks, not even making the honour roll. Will this kill my university chances? What happened? What can I do better next year?

    You better work your butt off and thank God for your freshman year awards. You need to study study study!
