Fashion/Clothes for Women in their early 20s?
my wife is in her early 20s and i would to know stores that sell clothes that are more suited to women her age.
it seems all we can find are stores that sell teen fashion styles or "mom" style.
she is needing a change in wardrobe and we need a good place or places to start.
i will be glad to take any help and would like stores we can actually visit but websites are still appreciated.
@ Ashley, my wife has the same problem. when we go to the mall or any store really she usually makes a comment about how clothes are either made for a teenager or for her mother.
it usually is a search to find something she likes and at some stores the staff isnt very helpful.
i also consider that some stores named may have a different demgraphic of customer and even though it usually has clothes she may like, the location in our city may not (if that makes sense)

H&M is great. its pretty much made for 20somethings. im 24 and i cant go in that store without seeing at least five things i want to buy. its trendy but not too over the top. its also a great place to get basics like really nice skirts, and tops that look good with jeans or skirts. they have super reasonable prices too. its all well made but at really low prices.
Boston Store. this one is a bit trickyer. if you go in the juniors section, they have really nice officey type clothes, that look great with jeans too. they also have not so "mom" style stuff in the womens section. they pretty much ALWAYS have SOMETHING on sale so you can get a lot for your money
Forever 21 is nice but its hit and miss. if your wife is willing to actually spend a fair amount of time in there, not all of it is teen stuff. i bought a really pretty dress there quite recently.
Kohls is always worth a look. if she drifts between the juniors section and the womens section, she should usually come up with SOMETHING.
Express. They are a bit pricier, but they have awesome stuff. its my "splurge store". whenever i find extra money in my paycheck that im sure isnt going anywhere else, i get myself something from express.
remember though. all this stuff is sort of trial and error. if your wife at a mall, they are going to put whatever is trendy in the windows. so just because she doesnt see something she likes right away, doesnt mean they dont have it somewhere in the store.

I wouldn't be turned off, or afraid of them... I'd certainly date a woman with braces.
