horse blanket help............?

winter coming and i need to know how much Denier i need and poly fill..i have arab/saddlebred 4 year old, i live in indiana and the lowest it gets is maybe -15 degree, but not all the time, wont blanket until it gets down under 30, i want the winter coat to work in, i want him still toi ba able to have his coat keep him warm, but i want him dry and wind breaker, and something to put on if i ride when cold out so he doesnt get sick, an idea please help, pic and website of them would be great to thanks for all your help, when should u start putting the blanket

    just a thick blanket would be fine and make sure you have a small shelter from him so he can escape the elements if he wishes check out thins site

    you dont need a blanket. save your money, let your horse grow in a nice wooly coat. he will be fine, mother nature knows best, his coat will keep him dry in bad weather, how did horses survive to this day when we only started blanketing them recently? he wont get sick. if you ride make sure he's very dry when you put him away.
