Is there a way to turn screenshots into images?
Im using Gimp 2 to open my screenshots and when I save the file, it doesn't save it as a picture(when I open it, it opens with Gimp, not as a actual picture) How do I turn it into a picture, to post on Facebook?

Save it as a jpeg. Click File > Save as > give it a new name like mypic.jpeg - when the export as jpeg dialog opens hit Export.
GIMP saves images as XCF by default - this is GIMP's own image format - it is an actual picture!!!
