A friend of mine is ill?

Suddenly he got very sick. For about three weeks he suffered bad fevers that put him in hospital, he is a very fit guy and it wasn't like him to be that weak, so there was no chance of exaggeration. He is still waking up drenched in sweat from night sweats and is tired and worn out. He was told it was the flu but this is unlike any flu i have ever heard of. I think he should get blood tests to be sure. Any ideas as to what could cause random severe fevers and exhaustion?

Update:

They have "looked" at him but i don't trust Doctors much after them neglecting a family member passing his illness off as a virus and he ended up with leukemia.

He hasn't got any other symptoms that i know of. But we are making sure he eats very healthy, gets lots of sleep and takes vit C etc. Is he within rights to demand a full blood screening?

Sounds like this near buddy of yours is a fella coz they regularly do plenty of moaning whilst they're in poor health. (scientifically tested) lol. You might inform your buddy that if they'd a extra constructive perspective toward it they could get bigger faster. Might paintings. Some folks identical to moaning regardless that looking to get the sympathy vote. Maybe when you cross OTT with the sympathy it could shake 'em out of it lol. :)
