I'd say check out the band Halford. My two favorite "newer" bands are Halford and Black Label Society. Their newest album is called "Halford IV: Made Of Metal" and came out about a year ago. Their albums are "Resurrecttion" (2000), "Crucible" (2002), and "Halford III: Winter Songs" (2009). They also have quite a few EP's, live albums, compilations and DVD's out. The only one of those that I have is "Live Insurrection" which is awesome!
