How do I 'grab' a window in Safari (Mac) that has a picture I need?
So I'm studying biological slides from microscopes. The slides have been uploaded and I can view them online but they're not JPEGs. When I open a slide it opens up like a new webpage and I can't "copy to iPhoto" like other pictures; I would like to so I can print them out and study with them. Is there a way to get the picture? How can I take a picture of the webpage?

Shift Command 3 will capture entire screen and save a png file on your desktop.
Shift Command 4 will give crosshair cursor, draw a marquee around part of screen you want to capture, it will save as a png file on your desktop.
Shift Command 4 followed by spacebar will change the cursor to a camera icon, click anywhere in a window to capture that entire window including bits hidden by other windows, it will save also as png file on your desktop.
You can open and print these files using Preview.
Alternatively Shift Command 3 or 4, if you include Control key, will work as above but rather than saving as a png file, the screen capture will be saved to the clipboard, you can paste in another window or application.
Finally in Applications>Utilities is a utility called Grab which you can use for screen captures.
